I pinged (at)gaming specifically because it's a gaming-oriented debate, and I thought it'd be an funny/interesting conversation. I didn't ping excessively or frivolously. I'm not a furry. Saying a furry pinged you to debate is misleading.

The crux of the argument was that Rito and Zora are rather defined races, as opposed to being animal stand-ins. They're not Eagles, they're not Salmon, they're not anything that you can point to. They're divergent from a *type* of animal, sure, but to say they are animals is misleading in the same way saying Sonic IS an animal is not.
