I'm fairly certain that's wrong, you got a source on that? From what I know it's about him driving the druids from Ireland and converting the people to Catholicism since he believed that the druids were "snakes" as in symbols of evil/charlatans

2018-09-07 07:16:22 UTC

Source: I'm irish

Those kind of theories quite fascinating me, where you look at author you cannot be sure how much of it its trolling and how much is actually beliving that shit.

2018-09-07 08:41:55 UTC

Really? That's strange, I've never heard of the Twa people before and my granddad is very into his Irish history, so it's just a little surprising to me.

2018-09-07 08:45:26 UTC

Yeah, AskHistorians is saying the Twa people being from Ireland was a myth invented around the 1800s-1900s

2018-09-07 08:46:59 UTC

Website you linked is batshit insane, tho, omg

2018-09-07 08:47:44 UTC

"Black people celebrating because of genetic memory" Nah, it's an excuse for all people everywhere to get drunk because the bars are full and party-hard, there's also parades and public drunkenness is pretty much ignored

2018-09-07 08:48:01 UTC

Clearly the Irish just throw the best parties 😛

2018-09-07 08:48:16 UTC

But yeah all jokes aside the afroperspectives thing is hokey

2018-09-07 10:11:02 UTC

Leprechauns known for being dwarf-like in size - article names a height that is barely smaller than the average of the time

2018-09-07 16:53:47 UTC

So what if the leprechauns are just immortal irish men hmm <:TimThink:482277772497125378>

2018-09-07 17:06:38 UTC

Shit, we've been caught

2018-09-07 17:22:59 UTC

you know how old people seem to get a bit shorter as time goes on?

2018-09-07 17:23:07 UTC

what happens if you never die.

2018-09-07 17:35:48 UTC

you just inverse grow

2018-09-07 19:49:26 UTC

I've been thinking recently about the pros of a constituional monarchy. I think there is untapped potential that is overlooked in a constitutional monarchy. I'm not saying that one should be put in power, just that it has some benefits.

2018-09-07 19:52:11 UTC

The main reason I was thinking about this is, if someone spent 20 years being taught to lead a nation it would be a great benefit. Especially, if the person elected into monarchy was a highly qualified individual

2018-09-07 19:52:32 UTC

who could teach their offspring

2018-09-07 19:52:34 UTC

/heir

2018-09-07 19:53:00 UTC

It’s not a merit based system though. Some heirs just aren’t fit to lead.

2018-09-07 20:03:04 UTC

I mean tbh, if the king had multiple heirs

2018-09-07 20:03:12 UTC

he dedicated over two decades teaching

2018-09-07 20:03:27 UTC

it might be good

2018-09-07 20:30:36 UTC

teaching how to manipulate the people into blinding following you for your own selfish gains? oh yeah, brilliant.

2018-09-07 20:31:05 UTC

you know what might also be a good idea? Autocrats school 101, hosted by hillary clinton.

2018-09-07 20:40:38 UTC

No I mean, if the constituion made it illegal for the king/queen to porfit from it

2018-09-07 20:40:49 UTC

and the king/queen also had to teach morals and ethics

2018-09-07 20:41:01 UTC

to their heirs

2018-09-07 22:10:45 UTC

They profit from it by default, they have most of the power.

2018-09-07 22:10:51 UTC

Or the are just a figure head.

2018-09-07 22:33:18 UTC

@Timcast M hey i watched your video about abortion where you compared a baby to a vampire and I was thinking does this mean you’d be ok with me removing money given to people on welfare since they are sapping my life in a slightly different but comparable way only i never did anything that would lead them to suck out my life

2018-09-07 22:33:29 UTC

Figured this was a better place

2018-09-08 01:28:11 UTC

Then you also need to get rid of the benefits a king would get. Some are in it for the power and nothing else.

2018-09-08 12:49:39 UTC

removing a baby from your body is different from shooting someone in the head

2018-09-08 12:49:57 UTC

providing welfare to a person is different from forcing a person to provide their being to another

2018-09-08 12:50:07 UTC

the blood of a woman is not the same as handing someone a sandwich

2018-09-08 12:50:22 UTC

i dont like abortion and I dont think it should be used as contraception

2018-09-08 12:50:35 UTC

but Im more worried about a government that can mandate you provide your body to another
