But you could talk about how the Japanese twitter flew into a frenzy over it

2018-01-05 22:03:59 UTC

Vice went there, filmed corpse, got close up shots, slow pan

2018-01-05 22:04:00 UTC

2018-01-05 22:04:05 UTC

if I went there people would praise my reporting

2018-01-05 22:04:17 UTC

what is going on in iran and the DRC is more interesting

2018-01-05 22:04:17 UTC

I went to Fukishima, people praised it. I know its not the same thing but similar

2018-01-05 22:04:29 UTC

oh shit Logan Paul or Jake Paul did something scandalous? Now how can I use this to benefit my career

2018-01-05 22:04:41 UTC

all I think about that is that it's giving him too much credit and YouTube is being disingenuous as always

2018-01-05 22:04:42 UTC

@cactus He showed the miscolored hands, which shouldn't be shown to kids, and he put the picture of him hanging in the thumbnail to attract clicks. He used the guys suicide for personal gain.

2018-01-05 22:04:44 UTC

I think the difference is that logan was making more of a joking perspective

2018-01-05 22:04:44 UTC

people are getting mad viral hits ragging on him, its the logan paul bump

2018-01-05 22:05:00 UTC

I dont think logan was makin g it in a joking perspective per se

2018-01-05 22:05:03 UTC

hes just young and dumb

2018-01-05 22:05:09 UTC

he did what he thougth he needed to do

2018-01-05 22:05:22 UTC

2018-01-05 22:05:26 UTC

2018-01-05 22:05:30 UTC

Tim, he knows his audience are children though

2018-01-05 22:05:32 UTC

I totally do not condone anything he did I think he's retarded. but there are other channels that have done the exact sort of the same thing and worse and got away with it. I'm just saying there's a lot of fucking opportunists using it to boost themselves

you could argue showing the skeleton is more disrespectful, it means the family doesnt even know where they went,. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4FDSdg09df8

2018-01-05 22:06:13 UTC

I think 2018 is going to be known as the year of the witch hunts

The Logan Paul stuff? He essentially disrespected the fuuuuuuuuuck out of Japanese people in general, he even ran around Japan wearing a komono and being an ass to regular people

2018-01-05 22:06:27 UTC

but wasn't that 2017's motto?

2018-01-05 22:06:34 UTC

the left will regret bowing down as much as they have. the backfire has already begun

2018-01-05 22:06:52 UTC

In my opinion the issue is that it wasn't for the sake of journalism but rather they were just showing a body they didn't expect to see there with the only context being "we found it in the suicide forest".

2018-01-05 22:06:52 UTC

@cactus hopefully it wears off by this time next year. we tried this back in the 1600's and make fun of it to this day.

2018-01-05 22:07:11 UTC

of course, that requires that the perpetrators have read their history

2018-01-05 22:07:20 UTC

you know what I need to do. I need to do collabs. I usually ignore community shit and I shouldnt

2018-01-05 22:07:31 UTC

@Timcast I doubt it, considering the left holds positions of power literally everywhere, it will not be long until certain political parties are just straight up banned because their "toxic" etc

2018-01-05 22:07:32 UTC

I don't really care about that entire "disrespect" thing, or at least not any more than if he had disrespected the Germans, the Brazilians or any other nation

2018-01-05 22:07:43 UTC

I doubt anyone else who had a child audience would both go to the suicide forrest, and publicly show the body.

2018-01-05 22:07:59 UTC

vice's audience in 2012 was 18-24

2018-01-05 22:07:59 UTC

collaborating has been shown to be the easiest way to grow your audience

2018-01-05 22:08:02 UTC

so a bit older than pauls
