Given the fact that it took him two years to even get THIS verdict

I'm pretty damn sure he'll have served his sentence before the appeal makes it to a judge.

It's still an affront to free speech, but note that he's not guilty of 'hate crime'

He's guilty of 'sharing grossly offensive material'.

I think there's a chance that this charge carries a lighter sentence.
