But that’s right now
Why not
What is inherently different about the US
well yeah ofc its right now
Spoiler alert: nothing
It will shift left
racial demographics
GG @run 110 minutes lose 110 pounds, you just advanced to level 17!
Your Bernies of the world will become the mainstream left
And the progressive left will be actual socialists
Can you stop for a second
Why do you expect it to arbitrarily stop at socdem
like even though demographics would change are immigrants and minorities really for socialism? i feel like all they would really push for is social democracy and that would be the end. i mean even with a huge demographic change i feel like there wouldnt be a collective goal to create such an economically equal society ig if that makes sense. ig it really just doesnt seem realistic for such a thing to occur. and whats the point of literally splitting the nation to prevent socialism when social democracy and socialism itself can actually be good ideas if implemented correctly. like i wouldnt advocate for such an extreme measure to prevent socialism. i mean if you think demographic change is such a huge problem enough to split the nation over it cant you just ban immigration or at least set quotas. splitting a whole nation over ideas just seems unrealistic.
i mean i think it really will
Lol k
Historically, young minorities in any country you look at tend to be attracted to the most leftist ideology that has a shot at winning
Yes
^
ban immigration
If you look at places like France, far left candidates are the ones that appealed the most to minorities
set quotas
So to answer your question, yes
It would turn to socialism
no
You have to realize something
how does that answer my question
Countries with open borders dont tend to be more left wing
Once socdem becomes the norm, socialism will not be a fringe ideology
yeah ofc
Than a country with closed borders
The word socialism has already lost a lot of its negative connotations
So people in a socdem country will view socialism similarly to how we view socdem noe
yeah because social democracy is being viewed as socialism
It isnt
it is
But you have to look at relative placements
general people dont know the difference
at all
Oh i see what you meant
Immigrants usually vote democratic you are right about that
