philly D just said in his video that the Malaysian vice prime minister might be a woman which might make it more acceptable in the middle east... I guess he didnt realise the vice president of Syria since 2006 has been an old woman.

Homelessness is an interesting problem to tackle. There really is no "good" way to deal with it. Probably the only good way is to allow non profits and charities set up shelters or camps and let them run them. Just give them a place to operate. Let private citizens try and tackle trying get them back on their feet or connect them to other support. That way the towns or cities can say "they are doing something" while also not necessarily supporting or incentiving the life style nor use tax payer dollars.

2018-05-11 22:34:47 UTC

I disagree. I think if citizens privatized that process, that process would involve a business model that puts them right back into homelessness. at least that's what it seems to me at a glance. I think what's best is to figure out why they're homeless

2018-05-11 22:47:52 UTC

There's probably only a minority of homeless people who can actually be permanently helped out of their homelessness. That's where resources ought to be focused. It's like triage: help who you can actually help and don't waste resources helping those who are beyond help.

2018-05-11 22:48:35 UTC

For those who are beyond helping, all that can be done is to minimize the harm they can do to society.

2018-05-11 22:50:00 UTC

There are always going to be people who are too mentally ill, too extreme in personality, or too far gone to drug addiction to become functioning members of society.

2018-05-12 00:40:28 UTC

@n- there is a reason i said "non-profit" and charities.

2018-05-12 00:40:44 UTC

if there was a business model for it, then there would be business for it.

2018-05-12 00:41:18 UTC

but turns out not many business that have figured out how to squeeze money out of debt ridden homeless people

2018-05-12 00:43:01 UTC

out of curiosity, Alcoholics Anonymous is a non-profit organization, right?

2018-05-12 00:43:29 UTC

I've got no sources to this, most of what I've heard is by word of mouth, but the large majority of it has been from former addicts

2018-05-12 00:44:05 UTC

every single one of them states that AA is pretty much designed to make sure they go right back in there

2018-05-12 00:45:23 UTC

do their member actually pay for that service? or is it free?

2018-05-12 00:46:12 UTC

I'm actually not certain

2018-05-12 00:46:43 UTC

"There are no dues or fees for AA membership. An AA group will usually have a collection during the meeting to cover expenses, such as rent, coffee etc, Members are free to contribute as much or as little as they wish."

2018-05-12 00:47:11 UTC

that, to me, says there is an advantage to keeping people there, trying to trick them out of their money.

2018-05-12 00:47:50 UTC

but still, most large scale non-profits are pretty much a scam

2018-05-12 00:48:11 UTC

and charities

2018-05-12 00:48:43 UTC

like the red cross

2018-05-12 00:50:42 UTC

but who the town/city lets do this is up to each one, so long as they allow such an organization to be there to begin with.

2018-05-12 00:51:48 UTC

the problem with using tax money is that you will fund or help subsidize someones drug habit, at least of a little while. Thats just necessary during the time they try to get sober IF they try to get sober. That is not going to be popular with a lot of tax payers.

2018-05-12 00:52:33 UTC

so your only choice is either not give to shits, and let the local government piss away money at the problem and not do anything, or let citizens who want to help and have the means, do what they want to help.

2018-05-12 00:53:21 UTC

sure, there are shit organizations out there, but the local government has 0 incentive to help them out of homelessness. They just want them gone and it would be cheaper to higher a few more officers to beat them out of the city, then try and help them.

2018-05-12 01:05:48 UTC

problems exist until people eliminate them

2018-05-12 01:06:00 UTC

pissing on a fire doesn't put it out, firemen put it out

2018-05-12 01:39:09 UTC

tim wasent kidding about cobra kai, this shit is good, very well writen and very much knows what its trying to be

2018-05-12 01:40:43 UTC

so, i just thought of something

2018-05-12 01:41:48 UTC

given that California is constantly trying to import illegal immigrates but seems to export to other states American citizens, what if trumps plan to make Mexico pay for the wall is to sell California to Mexico and use the profits to build the wall?

@Arch-Fiend Agreed. It's strange to find myself empathizing with Johnny Lawrence.

2018-05-12 02:03:41 UTC

its interesting, hes a very sympathetic character though he also thinks innitally many things i dont nessicarly agree with, but you also see him change a bit becoming more tolerent to other people while still trying to maintain what he things is the right way to be. i think this series could be very drama filled with lots of characters sort of having conflicts with eachother and i kind of hope it doesent end up that way but its still at a point im interested in seeing how everyone develops consitering the setup

2018-05-12 02:27:20 UTC

wut cobra kai

2018-05-12 02:46:25 UTC

"How long to Africa Americans have to keep putting up with this shit"

Yes, how long do they need to keep putting up with getting caught committing crimes like sex with minors, illegal handling of voter money, and tax evasion and getting sent to prison each time.

Tim, at some point you're going to have to accept that you're considered an undesirable by Youtube and that they've blacklisted you. This isn't just a series of mistakes on their part. They're trying to drive you away. It's intentional. Mere incompetents wouldn't be so consistent in their actions and in their victims.
