its interesting the similarities with 1984, except with the opposite viewpoint... like obrien says I dont want to force you to do this, I want you to want to "be a good citizen" kinda thing... but in Utopia its more about all the Utopians rather than a specific character... but the way it describes things... like "everyone can go to bed whenever they want, but they all want to go to bed at a reasonable time".. the idea of Utopia seems to be a place where everyone just thinks the same

also utopia seems to have slavery 😛 .. but I guess it was written in the 1500's so...

but on the 1984 thing... its like with 1984, its written with the idea of "this is a bad thing".. and with Utopia its written with the idea of "this is a good thing"

I thought Subverse would be a place where local journalists would be able to share their coverage. For me as a local in Sweden, it´s hard to get a following, so I quit. I see local coverage and cooperation. Travel and footage are major competing expenses for a news organization. An alliance of independent journalists activated as needed could make a difference for independent journalism.
