The comment section was EXTREMELY hateful. I think it IS rather interesting how quickly they'll turn on a woman in a powerful position and a south Asian Indian in order to strike a 'clearly racist and sexist' president.

But I'm pretty sure there are cultures that would find someone joking about cultural history of volcano sacrifices offensive.

It's just easy enough to ridicule the off position on their strongest arguments, such as that being humor, but you don't need to take them out of context. And in the long run, you wind up with a stronger, more convincing argument when you eliminate their best point.

Random question: Has anyone heard of the Upjohn Institute? After we've already had two cases across the nation (one in Virginia, one in South Carolina) where someone claimed extreme racial profiling and verbal abuse over the past couple of weeks (which were dispelled by body cam footage being released showing otherwise), we've got a case in south DFW metro, where someone's claiming that an officer raped them.

Without any evidence, only testimony, Shaun King is releasing names, and citing the story as fact.

Police Officers are getting death threats.
