your premise is that you work for money hence it should exclusively be yours.
but that income is contingent on a functional society which provides the necessary conditions for the income to occur at the rate that it does. now the reason we have a welfare state all over the west is due to evolutionary reasons, if we didnt move in this concessionary manner, capitalism would have collapsed through a series of revolutions all over the west because people were doing so poorly under the laissez faire models. the welfare state came about through evolutionary mechanisms and by wishing it away and thinking it would create a better society, you're ignoring the circumstances behind its emergence in the first place.
