i dont think this line of questioning is leading anywhere meaningful
but i do have a question for you
well, it started with you asking why you don't stab someone and for you and me, its not because its against the law. Where were you going with that?
for me its because i dont want to harm or kill someone, another person in my community
whats it for you
more less the same. also because i believe in treating others how you would want to be treated, because its stupid to expect others to treat you better than how you treat them.
so it would be stupid of me to expect someone not to stab me if i stab other people
that seems fair
my point is social contracts matter
just like it would be stupid of me to expect cops not to shoot at me when i pull a gun on them, but apparently BLM doesn't believe that
far more than laws
laws come late
laws tend to come into place when there is a breakdown of social contractual order
and the the point i was going to make, which is that laws can/do give an outline for what, in the society you are in, is or is not okay. now, this gets trickier the more you abstract law makers from the people the law governs
so, when i asked what do you do or want to see happen, can become a law of your community for simplicity sake
also so that anyone new entering the community knows these things from the moment they enter
or can know these things at least
what i want to see happen really doesnt matter
but it does.
it does count, otherwise you wouldn't have any opinion on what you want to see happen
you still have personal agency
i have plenty of opinions that dont count and dont matter
you can still more or leave where you are. unless maybe you are in NK
but i had a question for you
and this one i think, hope can be answered more easily
where are you from?
US
i grew up in Baltimore, MD
So did I.
(we got a Baltimore exchange program here?)

for the record, i'm not from Baltimore. I'm from the northeast.
(i should have answered the from question like a sovereign citizen)
i dont even know what that means
i just like to know where people are coming from, literally and otherwise
which part, the northeast or sovereign citizen?
the latter
they basically like to say they are a US citizen but the rules don't apply to them because the articles of confederation say so
also the name of a domestic terrorist organization.
