We had better equipment, better training(less so for the drafters), better strategies
the first versions of the m16 actually had issues with the buffer tubes once the m14 were nearly phased out they went and fixed that issue
in some respects I think Vietnam was a win: we prevented the USSR influence
It definitely was a military win.
technically yes
and it was a show of power
the US was in a better position overall strategically and logistically speaking, but there was no point for the war to continue, it was obvious viet's didn't want them there and even if they won and managed to occupy vietnam it would cost too much to maintain their presence.
And that too, USSR realised America would go to the wall.
but how I see it i'll vote for anti-war politicians
I do not want more wars
Vote for bernie
no
why not
Bernie is the best candidate
bernie has socialist ideals and im very much against his policies on healthcare and college
Sanders is quite bad.
This is the guy who wants to politicise the fed by adding farmers to the board.
Democratic socialism isn't bad
I disagree
I will see any form of socialism as bad
i'd rather die
I don't want to debate the word
I rather debate policies
For example, Sanders wants to raise the corporate tax: bad idea.
socialism has failed
everywhere it has gone
Nope, very good idea
it has failed
look at venezuela
Yes, keep regurgitating the same phrases over and over again.
look at every other socialist country in history
im sorry no
I will NEVER vote bernie
Raise corporate tax, lower medical expenses, education expenses etc...
Taxing capital income is a flawed idea. Have you heard of tax incidence, it's the burden of taxation. Roughly half of the tax incidence falls on workers and consumers.
Corporate taxes also reduce growth, investment and job growth.
This is all empirically observed.
more corporatiosn are willing to leave the us with taxes to high
Other unobserved things can include lower amount of competition.
