Might make sense, after all if they kill the rebels then they never find their allies

thats why she had to stop finn .. but try not to kill him and blow her cover

If they let the rebels send out their signal then they can find and kill their allies

But again, if it wasn't for this side mission where they left the fleet, she would've been on one of the ships that the First Order was going to destroy.

By betraying this fleet she would've been killing herself.

You're looking for something that isn't there. It was just a badly written movie.

You're presuming that the empire wants her to survive

The loose ends aren't secret plot twists. They're just bad writing.

Literally the only plot hole that this fills in is the part where she crashes finn out of the way of the massive cannon

maybe kylo ren is her brother
