No ifs, no buts. You commit a crime you get shipped out. You commit a serous crime you do time in jail then shipped out.

i'd call it unfair here to banish an immigrate here on a visa just because he smoked a little pot. OR committed any crime that was not violent, nor hurts anyone else.

@GingaBomber You say it does not work but that is a value you can't measure. You don't know how many ppl did not commit a crime because they were afaid of the punishment. Just coz some ppl don't care doesn't prove that it doesn't work.

The jail thing sounds pretty sound till then
