Youtube can claim videos are "duplicated" if any piece of content can be found somewhere else on Youtube and demonetize an entire channel.

Superchat is where the money is now, getting ads is basically impossible for anything slightly edgy

but if the entire channel is demonetized, no more superchats AND the money made in the month is gone
