2019-05-07 11:10:10 UTC

i am saving the very important parts (aka Graphics card, motherboard, CPU, etc) for last

2019-05-07 11:12:17 UTC

Probably until christmas newer models will come out too

2019-05-07 11:12:48 UTC

i'm not waiting until christmas

2019-05-07 11:12:58 UTC

i am going ot assemble this thing ASAP

2019-05-07 11:13:08 UTC

as in hopefully in june

2019-05-07 11:14:32 UTC

i am also going to purchase a new monitor, and possibly headphones and a new mouse

2019-05-07 11:14:41 UTC

i already have an LED keyboard that i bought last year but never opened

2019-05-07 11:14:47 UTC

so that's dealt with

2019-05-07 11:14:57 UTC

but i won't buy any of that extra stuff until the computer is all bought

2019-05-07 11:15:51 UTC

for monitor, i have 4 i am currently considering

2019-05-07 11:17:39 UTC

if you think any is considerably superior to any of the others, please let me know

2019-05-07 11:17:46 UTC

as my knowledge of monitors is very lacking lol

2019-05-07 11:20:52 UTC

are there any computer accessories you think are useful besides them?

2019-05-07 11:22:33 UTC

just to clarify i do intend on buying zip ties, a surge protector, possibly LED strips, more LED fans mainly in case the fans inside of the case clip or break (as they have been said to do)

2019-05-07 11:22:39 UTC

and i already own thermal paste

2019-05-07 11:23:07 UTC

MX-4 thermal compound from Arctic to be precise

2019-05-07 11:23:49 UTC

i also already have a 32 GB flashdrive (which i can load with windows 10 for installation)

2019-05-07 11:24:17 UTC

and pretty much all the tools i need for the assembly of the computer, aka tons of different screwdriver heads and the weird static bracelet to ground yourself

2019-05-07 11:25:05 UTC

Nuh you are fine

2019-05-07 11:25:16 UTC

Zip ties are good for cable management too

2019-05-07 11:25:37 UTC

You could always take an external hdd/book to have some sort of fast back-up too

2019-05-07 11:26:23 UTC

maybe, but i feel like that is something i'd do later on

2019-05-07 11:27:14 UTC

how exactly does window 10 installation work for the flashdrive, would i just download it from another computer (i.e. my laptop) in whatever form it should be, and then it's all done?

2019-05-07 11:27:35 UTC

aka if i started up my computer would it auto-install or would i have to do a weird BIOS thing

2019-05-07 11:27:45 UTC

and also would my flash drive need to be clear of all other files for that to work

2019-05-07 11:31:44 UTC

Just boot from your flash-drive and the installation is streamlined

2019-05-07 11:31:49 UTC

it's not that hard

2019-05-07 11:41:22 UTC

never get's old
