Confusing af

2018-11-05 00:39:27 UTC

But don't tell the NPCs that. They'll bluescreen.

2018-11-05 00:39:51 UTC

People.exe has corrupted

2018-11-05 00:40:03 UTC

they even put out that article that being a cuck is some kind of high-intelligence fetish or some shit

2018-11-05 00:40:03 UTC

beta is someone weak. cuck is someone so submissive as to let their partner fuck other people, and you get pleasure from it.

2018-11-05 00:40:14 UTC

typically cucks are viewed as betas

2018-11-05 00:40:51 UTC

all 3 are used to imply weak willed usually

2018-11-05 00:40:56 UTC

Sad that new words have to be created to describe something small

2018-11-05 00:41:29 UTC

I disagree with you there Socrates. Making new words to describe things is a good thing, as long as it's something worthy of being described.

2018-11-05 00:41:41 UTC

You want a word that's not worthy of existing. Cis.

2018-11-05 00:41:51 UTC

language is literally the making up of new words to describe things

2018-11-05 00:41:56 UTC

Well creating 3 words to describe the same thing and rhats a prefix

2018-11-05 00:41:59 UTC

the fact someone had to invent the word Cis is... a fucking disgrace to all of humanity.

2018-11-05 00:41:59 UTC

Thats*

2018-11-05 00:42:12 UTC

they all have slightly different means

2018-11-05 00:42:19 UTC

Weak

2018-11-05 00:42:28 UTC

Beta=weak

2018-11-05 00:43:10 UTC

Wea>k on ur keyboard why is it that hard to type weak

2018-11-05 00:43:14 UTC

soyboy implies they are weak because of what they eat, beta implies weak because of lack of testosterone, and cuck is weak in terms of skill and confidence, so much so their partner needs someone else to satisfy them

2018-11-05 00:43:35 UTC

beta can also mean lack of fighting ability

2018-11-05 00:44:03 UTC

Lol thats typically subjective and can occur with alpha type mammals.

2018-11-05 00:44:22 UTC

and in the animal kindgom, betas usually need to resort to rape in order to procreate

2018-11-05 00:44:34 UTC

hence the male feminist ally being a rapist trope

2018-11-05 00:44:36 UTC

There's more to it than that.
Originally the idea was applied to animal packs.
The Alpha Wolf being the leader, and the Betas being the others that follow.
In humans and our modern society, it's been twisted slightly, but the idea of an Alpha still exists (see Trump), where the idea of a Beta has become... well, a hyper-extreme of the concept. Human Betas are so utterly BETA in that regard, that if animals understood, they'd commit suicide to be considered a beta on the same tier.

See example: Male Feminists are Betas.

2018-11-05 00:44:41 UTC

its just nature after all

2018-11-05 00:45:23 UTC

Alphas are the strongest and best, Betas are doomed to second place, they can't compete against Alphas.

2018-11-05 00:45:26 UTC

Eh its a stretch with words nowadays. I could call someone an omega and that would be last guy.

2018-11-05 00:45:51 UTC

So are they worse than betas or better than alphas

2018-11-05 00:46:43 UTC

the terms beta and alpha stem from what we observed in pack animals

2018-11-05 00:46:51 UTC

but Grenade123's description of the other terms is largely right.
Soyboy- Implied to only eat soy and has a low testosterone level. Often seen as a reason they're all betas.
Cuck- Worthless at everything they do, so bad at sex that they need someone else to come fuck their partner to satisfy them.

2018-11-05 00:46:52 UTC

the alpha is usually the leader

2018-11-05 00:47:14 UTC

some times there are a pair of alphas, the dominate mating pair

2018-11-05 00:47:23 UTC

I mean wolf packs are what you are comparing to right?

2018-11-05 00:47:23 UTC

everyone else is a beta

2018-11-05 00:47:37 UTC

lions, any pack animal really

2018-11-05 00:47:47 UTC

with a noticeable power structure

2018-11-05 00:47:51 UTC

I mentioned wolves as an example, yes, but most pack animals have this mindset, that there is a clear LEADER that all others follow.

2018-11-05 00:48:52 UTC

also as Grenade said, often the leadership role is seen as a pair of alphas. An Alpha Male and an Alpha Female.

2018-11-05 00:49:12 UTC

but that's only in animals.

2018-11-05 00:49:13 UTC

often times, betas, usually males as you need less males than females to keep population sizes up, are forced out of the packs after a certain age. As a result, some species resort to raping the females belonging to an alphas pack, because they can't take on the alpha and win the "rights" to the females

2018-11-05 00:49:57 UTC

so they sneak in, rape a female, and run away
