There are much better fantasy stories out there
The reason people obsessed is because it hit an accepted status early on like Pokemon. When something is widely accepted then the sheep cling to it to belong
Not to disrespect sheep, that is
yeah, its not bad, but its not great
@H E C K Try going on dating sites and coming across women in their late 30s yammering about HP.
It's disgusting.
I enjoyed Harry Potter when I was a kid ;_;
Harry Potter is really good
It's weird though, books 1 through 4, read at an age of ~10, felt good. 5 through 7, read at an age of 22 or something like that, felt eh
The author was aging
First 3 books are fine as kids books. 4 onward are thematically kids books but the author is trying to age them up alongside her audience. It doesnt work
Harry Potter is fine series for a kids, but when adult is trying to convince me that it is greatest series in fantasy genre, its just cringe
Its like someone trying to convice you that Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs or Pocahontas are best movies ever made
There are better kids books out there anyway
Those ppl are just bronies with wands
Isn't Star Wars just Harry Potter with lasers? <:NPC:500042527231967262>
A year after accusing Roy Moore of harassment, Tina Johnson meets woman who helped rebuild her life http://www.al.com/reckon/2018/11/a-year-after-accusing-roy-moore-of-harassment-tina-johnson-meets-woman-who-helped-rebuild-her-life.html
Lol. She’s such a ‘victim’. I bet she burned her own house down for more attention.
Star Wars/Harry Potter/LOTR etc really aren't they all just Fast And The Furious for nerds
seriously though the harry potter movies as stand alone works of art are kind of bad, they are too busy trying to please fan's of the book and not offend them that they don't get any decent charecter development until the azkaban movie
LotR is legit 👌 from a worldbuilding perspective though
>harry potter movies
RIP lol
As for LOTRO i think that Tolkien did better job at "maturing" his work. Look at the gap between Hobbit and Lotro, not even talking about Silmarillion.
Lore, mythology and world itself got better with each book inho
And I think its good series to compare with HP, consider that it also starts with book for kids
The one time I agree with Erdogan on something.
Well, hitler built autobahns.
Sadly he didn't get much money from Soros...

@Timcast we have another victim. This is all the reporting I've found of the matter.

Except for most moderates I know lean against the Dems right now.
Course they count a typical person on the left as a moderate and far left as the norm
Yes, I imagine most moderates at this point lean Trump rather than anti-Trump.
"He's a bit of a nut, but my taxes are going down, and I appreciate what he did with Korea. We really should do something about the border, maybe not a wall, but definitely more than what we got."

That
Is actually what many of my friends and I think word for word
It wasn’t until 2016 that federal regulators began investigating how oil and gas was still leaking from the site. That same year, Taylor Energy sued the federal government over the remaining $432 million from a $666 million trust, which the company was required to create to pay for the leak response. Taylor Energy argued that its response worked and that the remaining funds should be returned.
Company's greed actually sparked an investigation and revealed the economic disaster
Another terrorist attack by the religion by the peace on Jewish individual happened. I guarantee this won't make it into Don Lemon's skewed statistics...
Also, can you guess the tags on this article? If you guessed Terrorism, Anti-semitism or anything obvious, you're wrong. If you guessed "Acting" (I.e., something that has nothing to do with the article), you're an Enlightened Progressive. The Hill's tagging is probably an honest mistake but the MSM have made so many deliberate mistakes I wouldn't put it past them to be like "Omg, we can't have "bigots" compiling and categorizing our reporting to figure out who commits the most terrorist attacks. We can't be promoters of hate speech. Let's change the tags to something meaningless so things are harder for them to find. Ermehgad!" https://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/418238-video-shows-driver-repeatedly-trying-to-run-down-jews-walking
