that's the problem
how does the government decide on who may send journalists to their pressconferences now
i don't consider every mistake a real grave mistake. like reporting that 4 people died in a school shooting, when it was only 3, in the first minutes, is normal.
not watching a video, and pushing your own agenda, is clearly a violation of what journalism is.
and i'm pretty sure that the government would be allowed to never hold a press conference for the next 2 years. that has nothing to do with an authoritarian regime. journalists could still do their work. but the government is not constrained to do X press briefings each week.
silencing journalists is what authoritarians do
@Ace K banning press from a press conference is much much different from making it illegal for them to report on anything. It does prevent them from asking questions at the conference but that is no different than the White House just making a statement.
If anything, the press is most likely not going to get anything but propaganda from a press conference.
yeah. nobody can force someone to answer questions.
i'd ban every cnn (and similar) journalist from press briefings
but handout every open seat to a proper journalist
e.g. tim pool instead of acosta :p
Has Tim ever done a story on the CBS/Netflix lawsuit for copyright violations? They stole the concept of tardigrades and other material from a guy's game and it's in the courts. MSM isn't covering it. I know Tim is a Star Trek fan. I'd love him to put his eyes on this story, keep getting the word out, and bring more attention to this. CBS has been so oppressive going after people for even the hint of anything Star Trek and then they go and steal a major component of STD. Tim also hates hypocrisy, and this is as hypocritical as it gets.
Yeehaw
what does that bill entails i wonder
wow
why was the 3yr protections for some illegals in there ?
thats DACA 2.0 i bet
they like to string ppl along whether they are illegals or legals
stupid bureacrats
why do these democrats talk so big on helping illegals
but when it comes to it all they get are bread crumbs
poor souls should just go bck to their parents' homeland
save them the heartache of american bureaucracy
give someone something and they only like you for a generation or two
keep giving them that something and theyll keep liking your party
Going back to #CovingtonGate news. I've seen literally every video Tim has used including the 2 hour video. My aunt said there is a video where there's teenagers 'whooping and hollering and acting like monkeys.' Is the really evidence of this? If so, where?
She's absolutely convicted of this too.
She could mean the part where they are clapping and going along with the Native American. I don’t think it was in malice though.
Ask her to share it with you
Put the burden of proof upon her.
I did. She's old and an actual boomer and impatient with technology. She doesn't know how to go through her history. I'm just doing diligence on her behalf.
I'm gonna look this up. I'm too old to keep combing through information.
It might be that inconcluisive video from the women, that might have been covington boys, but no one knows one way or the other it is all assumption
I still think that doesn't warrant what happened
In ANY degree
probably referencing them doing sport chants, if you ever seen a large group of guys do those it does look quite ape-ish at times. however its still a completely innocent thing to do
“ There’s a word for forcing people to work for untold weeks without paying them.
By The Times Editorial Board in Los Angeles Times
LA Times attempts to convince the American public that Trump has enslaved thousands of people due to the government shutdown. These government workers have all their rights, and they’re not being forced to work by anyone. Nobody owns them. The claim that delaying their pay is “ hard to distinguish from slavery” is the height of absurdity and ignores the horrors of true bondage.
