Wastes of our time often require having to mute the app and miss out on valuable discussions in order to get stuff in real life done. Does this app have the ability to mute users? If so, it might come in handy, because a waste of time is clearly not worth the energy.

Update: you can mute users by pressing and holding on their name, clicking "User Settings," then toggling "Mute." @Faggot Desu Senpai @RabbiLeo I highly recommend doing this whenever someone misuses the mentioning functionality.
