To be fair, the intentional famines part largely came before ww2 so they aren't part of the ww2 deaths. the irresponsibility of the russian states governments in war time works as a fine fault though. If jews, gays, and disabled people had been conscripted into armies instead of euthenized they likely would've been part of the death toll anyway.
