I was just raised by pure political and religious debate and banter with family
dont let it stop you
So that's why it is extremely intimidating
i can imagine
My immediate family, we mostly all agree with some exceptions
my extended family is another story
especially my moms side
i just dont want to piss off my parents cause im still living here lol
that and time like i mentioned before
I'm at work sorry if it takes me a moment to reply
your good
Trying to multi task out my ass right now haha
ah
Listeing to the H3 podcast, running reports for my job typing here and trying to help people
Kill me
dont die
you can hold off on some things
youll perform better that way
multi-taskings a meme
Nah already done
Heck yeah
lol fair enough
I thought about going to college for political philosophy and history but you have people that say
"You dont need college just read"
idk i think it depends on where you go and how its taught
i was lucky that they didnt try to indoctrinate us and instead focused on teaching the material and then how to think on said material. And write on it of course LOTS OF WRITING (typing really lol)
they didnt say we had to think about the subject in one way or another, they encouraged us to come to our own conclusions
which i appreciated
Now thats not to say we did not have classes that tried to push a narrative cause we did, although i avoided them. I had two classes that had elements of say sjwism but they werent enough to be of much influence. Had a friend who took Gender Studies to fullfill a requirement however, and he said they definitly pushed a narrative in there. He passed but he wasnt liked iirc.
Jesus
You know I also kinda thought those classes were just a random bullshit class that wasn't apart of a main course structure
Guess I'm wrong
He was a Criminal Justice major but I don’t think it was because of his major but that he had to fulfill one of the generic state University/College requirements but idk I’d have to ask
Be it the fact that it's a state uni requirement
A little weird
Well not that class particularly as I didn’t take it but it might have been one of the options
You get to choose from a list
Again though he MAY have been made to take THAT class in particular for some reason but I forgot
But it probs fulfilled one of the states requirements for credit hours
So would you recommend a poli degree or classes
