You could ask him if he would prefer for people in his immediate community to have a say in how things should work or if a few unelected people from across the world who can’t understand the situation of the people living in his area should decide things for them.

2018-07-08 19:24:50 UTC

I don’t know where he lives but if it’s the EU one day they can import 200 migrants into his town/city where they’d have no say in the matter and be forced to deal with it even if the local population knows they won’t be able to handle the influx.

2018-07-08 19:26:42 UTC

somewhat covered that already lol

2018-07-08 19:27:25 UTC

I said that the commission should have a system like the US does with the Pres. where they do popular vote with electoral college

2018-07-08 19:27:41 UTC

apparently thats come up but was opposed by those in power

2018-07-08 19:27:51 UTC

He's in Romania

2018-07-08 19:29:28 UTC

He tried to argue from emotion at first but stopped when I started talking about the EUs structure and how it had undemocratic elements

2018-07-08 19:32:27 UTC

Then it went into how it could be restructured to give member voters more say

2018-07-08 19:32:42 UTC

Then it went into Eastern Europe lol

2018-07-08 19:34:36 UTC

Now I’m presenting the cultural concern

2018-07-08 19:40:10 UTC

idk..EU and it's money brings about it's own corruption

2018-07-08 20:02:27 UTC

def

2018-07-08 20:02:54 UTC

the Euro was smart tbh

2018-07-08 20:03:05 UTC

dont mean its good but it makes people reliant

2018-07-08 20:26:22 UTC

The Euro was good for some countries and bad for others though

2018-07-08 20:27:39 UTC

The differences in wages, automation and level of general production in advanced areas causes problems with a shared currency

2018-07-08 20:28:31 UTC

It was a great deal for GBR and GER but Greece and to some extent Italy it can be seen as far less profitable

2018-07-09 07:33:14 UTC

Does it surprise you after ruling like 'context is irrelevant' ?

2018-07-09 07:35:06 UTC

I mean if they just be like 'we gonna home jail (or however you call it in english) crimes like shoplifting', who could protest that. But no, it's gotta be any non-violent crime and woman only.

2018-07-09 07:35:51 UTC

home jail? you mean house arrest?

2018-07-09 07:36:07 UTC

yea home arrest.. I just woke up my brain still not working 100%

2018-07-09 18:00:34 UTC

"A highly disturbing new Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) report circulating in the Kremlin today "

2018-07-09 18:01:29 UTC

"a friend of a friend of a friend said he over heard his friend say his other friend's brother's wife's cousin said..."

2018-07-09 18:03:33 UTC

2018-07-09 18:04:00 UTC

2018-07-09 18:04:35 UTC
