Supposing they (the people) are as vile as you say (I very much disagree), how would you go against them?
They have arguably the strongest intelligence organization, lots of nukes, are war-minded (that is, more conditioned for conflict than the West).
I find the government in many ways objectionable, but I generally feel that way about Islamic govts in general. I don't think Sharia has any place outside of a mosque or Muslim home.
