There is nothing "civilized" about Symphony as a medium, but people judge music performed by Symphonic orchestras by their "content"

The way back isn't, shortly put, in musical "reenactments" of 19th century, because that's what it genuinely is

You could argue that current popular music is degenerate and we should turn back the time on thematic content and then retrace recent developments in a different way

It's not about reenactment, but about correcting a cultural mistake

And then going forward again

Current popular music IMO, is nothing but a stimulans. It's in world of music, what coffee is in world of drinks -cheap way to swiftly stimulate your senses

Most of it has degenerate lyrical content too

Degeneracy in this sense to be understood in it's most primordial meaning - weakness

There seems to be a feedback loop here, a culture that worsens the art and music, which in turn influences (the more easily influenced members of) the culture.

You need to fix the two simultaneously.

One interesting turn of events is the dramatical fall of music from profitability

And how musical producers, facing the prospect of being completely unable to make a living

Started making this "underground",or "indie" music, or as i like to call it, "music"

Most notable genres so far to me are ambient, dark ambient, industrial etc

There's plenty others, but i haven't really picked up

One striking difference is complete absence of lyrical content

Big words, designed to "inform" public

no more "anti-war" songs

The reason culture sucks is because its apart of the agenda to dumb us down and control us

No more lyricism of social grandeur such as The Queens and such

Have no pride in your country

Feel dumb

No more rock bands and glam bands to inform us in opinions

No culture whatsoever

In Russia, culture is everything, history is everything, literature and art and music is everything

I dont care for art but I love history

So yeah the reason its all Kim Kartrashian and shitty music and constant garbage is just all part of the agenda to dumb us down and make us weak.
