I think the Trump backlash is a little ridiculas. His action in Syria is more bark than bite and he did run on a foreign policy of peace through strength. The idea of the gas attack being a flase flag could go either way, but is ultimately irrelevent. Unfortunately, even normies who don't believe the media still would buy the idea that Assad is guilty immediately. The Syria response may be harmful to US-Russia-Syrian relations in the short-term, but in the long-term it gives Trump the optics required to deepen relations from a position of strength. Bannon getting fucked over would be a real red flag though.

@Haupstürmfuhrer Pepe The Bannon thing is deeply concerning I will admit, but making opinions based on what looks to be happening in this environment is pointless, since we aren't able to see the real picture of whats happening behind closed doors. We likely won't know for sure until 50 or so years in the future when all this shit gets declassified. I still think there can be a number of things happening. First, this Bannon thing could be an attempt to reach out to moderates by killing the Bannon controls Trump narrative , and that Trump is willing to make reasonable concessions to his ideology. Second, this could be the ultimate deep state narrative. This is the problem with this hyperbolic political environment we live in. The best way to demoralize is for someone we don't like to like something. When in reality, two people can like something for different reasons. But that puts alot of us on edge.
