2018-07-08 15:05:44 UTC

2018-07-08 15:06:01 UTC

American Enterprise Institute

2018-07-08 15:06:37 UTC

aw... I wanted you to visit Flint

2018-07-08 15:07:49 UTC

Travel is expensive

2018-07-08 15:10:57 UTC

True, but Flint offers a lot of things to investigate, to be honest: Stigma, government finance, crime, lead poisoning, etc

2018-07-08 15:12:32 UTC

its a good point tho... girls are doing better in schools, and are the majority... its weird that they are getting preferential treatment

2018-07-08 15:24:05 UTC

sorry, for context i was just reading about the mark perry title 9 thing

2018-07-08 15:37:38 UTC

Well, the logic is that they're getting better because of the preferential treatment

2018-07-08 15:37:54 UTC

The boys can get fucked I guess

2018-07-08 15:45:54 UTC

Also, in schools teachers prefer dealing with girls. Better behaved generally while the boys get rather rowdy.

2018-07-08 15:46:50 UTC

Huh, Perry, rings a bell

2018-07-08 15:54:44 UTC

Actually just curious, where was the idea girls were doing poorly in class from?

2018-07-08 15:55:00 UTC

They were always the top scorers when it came to HS.

2018-07-08 15:55:17 UTC

Well, had better averages but the top of the top were usually guys.

2018-07-08 15:57:02 UTC

@Timcast you referenced the 'green revolution' alot. What do you mean by it. Because I took a class on agricultural history and the green revolution mention in class was the industrialization of modern agriculture, ie using chemicals and mechanized equipment to greatly increase food production.

2018-07-08 15:57:24 UTC

I thought it was a reference to the green party

2018-07-08 15:57:32 UTC

I think he's making a thing about going green

2018-07-08 15:57:35 UTC

because biking and shit

2018-07-08 15:57:41 UTC

meme harder

2018-07-08 15:58:04 UTC

When going green, first thing I hear is going organic, growing your own veges, and recycling more often

2018-07-08 15:58:16 UTC

yes

2018-07-08 15:59:43 UTC

Well, they have to find a new name. Green revolution is already taken.

2018-07-08 16:00:01 UTC

Id like to know what Tim meant by the original comment

2018-07-08 16:05:43 UTC

local food coops could work in mass if people weren't so damn lazy

2018-07-08 16:06:05 UTC

but its a ton of work and food only grows in certain area

2018-07-08 16:07:07 UTC

And you get bored. Easiest is to grow one or two crops and focus on those.

2018-07-08 16:07:15 UTC

yeah

2018-07-08 16:07:17 UTC

But who would want to eat the same stuff day after day
