I think a lot of people think the Star Wars movies are all good because they love Star Wars instead of loving Star Wars because the movies are good

I think Star Wars is a lot like Harry Potter. None of the stories are that special, and the characters aren't particularly deep, but the universe is what's special about it.

Nah the original ep 4-6 are very well made

Which mixes humour and seriousness in good way

They didnt achieve it in ep 1-3

The originals were good, had a great setting and interesting characters. Prequels were meh with good scenes, had a very good setting and mildly interesting characters. Sequels are bad*, have a meh, setting and absolutely boring characters of which i would not remember the names if it was not star wars.

Also the reason why 7,8,9 are failing is because they didnt respect the world building of the series

Ep7 was very clearly a set up movie and left a lot if thing open to build upon. Ep8 showed that the things set up where not setups but loose ends at best.

Everything that was not a loose end was tossed away to make room for bad jokes and incoherent nonsense.
