I was actually looking for a one particular anime i watched as a kid and had no chance to see either the beginning nor the end of it

2018-07-17 00:20:31 UTC

When I found that anime it was one of the biggest disappointments in my life

2018-07-17 00:20:38 UTC

ha

2018-07-17 00:20:51 UTC

But I found better series on my way towards it, so it is fine

2018-07-17 00:21:03 UTC

nostalgia can really bite you in the ass sometimes

2018-07-17 00:21:22 UTC

yeah man its liek when i tried to rewatch Fighting Foodons from when i saw it on 4kids

2018-07-17 00:21:38 UTC

LOL i watched like 3 mins and was like NOPE

2018-07-17 00:22:11 UTC

i sit through episode 1 of just about every anime that comes out every season ~~or i would be if anime sites weren't ABSOLUTE GARBAGE REEEE~~ and just keep watching until it becomes too intolerable to watch anymore

2018-07-17 00:22:32 UTC

which, for about 80% of anime, lasts 1 episode or less, so it isn't too bad and my "dropped" list is fucking YUUUUUUGE

2018-07-17 00:23:27 UTC

yeeeeah idk after i watched FMA brotherhood i went and rewatched teh original anime and was like noeep

2018-07-17 00:23:50 UTC

GitS, Texhnolyse, Ergo Proxy, Basilisk, Darker than black (only the first), Baccano!, Read or die, Monster, Sword of a stranger, Den-noh coil

2018-07-17 00:24:05 UTC

These are my all-time-favourites

2018-07-17 00:24:08 UTC

i'm told the best way to watch FMA is to watch several episodes of the original and then switch to brotherhood but go back to like ep 3 or something

2018-07-17 00:24:08 UTC

lol

2018-07-17 00:24:15 UTC

Oh and "Lovely complex"

2018-07-17 00:24:26 UTC

My guilty pleasure

2018-07-17 00:24:39 UTC

that's basically a full list of all the classic dark/dystopian anime

2018-07-17 00:24:55 UTC

AHH yeah well the first like 20 eps of the original are condesnsed into the first like 3 eps (after the first two part eps)

2018-07-17 00:25:16 UTC

What gets me even in good anime are the fillers

2018-07-17 00:25:30 UTC

FFS make it 9 episodes, just no fillers

2018-07-17 00:25:34 UTC

LOOL yeah i was never able to do that shit in naruto

2018-07-17 00:25:45 UTC

Anime has a huge problem where most of it is just not that good.

2018-07-17 00:25:47 UTC

Code Geass

2018-07-17 00:25:48 UTC

https://anilist.co/anime/13125 i'd recommend this one uksio

2018-07-17 00:25:55 UTC

Never finished Naruto nor Bleach

2018-07-17 00:26:01 UTC

The decline of the import filter kinda hurt western perceptions, IMO.

2018-07-17 00:26:13 UTC

Not bad anime by itself, but dammit how long can you stretch it???

2018-07-17 00:26:13 UTC

My favorite (by far) is Serial Experiments Lain.

2018-07-17 00:26:14 UTC

i never finished bleach but i regret every episode i watched. naruto i never got into at all

2018-07-17 00:26:20 UTC

but thats whats nice once a series is done u can jus skip dat shizzz

2018-07-17 00:26:54 UTC

Oh geez. I remember being curious about both of those. Until I watched one episode apiece.

2018-07-17 00:27:03 UTC

i watched bleach up until ichigo beat aizen and then i just went I'M DONE. idc if the anime continues from here, this is a conclusion and i'm taking it. i'm FREE

2018-07-17 00:27:12 UTC

I still don't see the charm.

2018-07-17 00:27:38 UTC

i watched the first like 50 eps of bleach n after that ya no but that was when i was starting to watch anime

2018-07-17 00:27:44 UTC

Bleach was just a bunch of cutaways of different charcters saying one line a piece for half an hour. It must have been a fairly late season. They had alot of characters.

2018-07-17 00:27:45 UTC

bleach was a good anime up until the point where rukia was saved. if it had ended right here i would have fond memories of it

2018-07-17 00:28:03 UTC

@Tohob thank you for the suggestion *added the entry No248 to the "want to see" list *

2018-07-17 00:28:04 UTC

prolly the best one that i watched from back then that still holds up is eureka seven

2018-07-17 00:28:15 UTC

👍🏻

2018-07-17 00:28:25 UTC

I can back up Shin Sekai Yori. It's a good choice.

2018-07-17 00:28:41 UTC

and when i say holds up i mean compared to everything else i watched as a highschool weeb like 10 years ago
