2018-07-18 12:26:45 UTC

I love this

2018-07-18 12:27:35 UTC

@wacka That seems like a blairite quitting because he cant stand Corbyn

2018-07-18 12:28:29 UTC

entirely possible... would be funny if many more quit .. in a way...

2018-07-18 12:28:52 UTC

i wonder how many it would take to finally get rid of corbyn

2018-07-18 12:29:20 UTC

"He was also a member of the Public Bill Committee for the Defence Reform Act 2014[11] Until 2015, Woodcock was the chair of Progress, a ginger group within the Labour Party, promoting Blairite policies within the party"

2018-07-18 12:29:23 UTC

My guess was correct.

2018-07-18 12:29:47 UTC

The Blairite vs Corbyn faction war has been a thing since Corbyn got elected head

2018-07-18 12:30:21 UTC

Blarities are pretty centrist and neo-liberalish

2018-07-18 12:30:28 UTC

Corbyn... Well, he's pretty far from that.

2018-07-18 12:38:21 UTC

we need to campaign to get Jude law removed from fantastic beasts

2018-07-18 12:38:27 UTC

why is a straight man playing a gay character?!

2018-07-18 12:41:18 UTC

i wonder if that would actually take off

2018-07-18 12:41:31 UTC

Isn't the rock being criticised for playing an amputee

2018-07-18 12:42:03 UTC

@Timcast I saw that on tumblr actually

2018-07-18 12:42:12 UTC

yup

2018-07-18 12:42:20 UTC

It won't be long before it gets into news

2018-07-18 12:42:42 UTC

This is the sjw method of increasing representation I guess

2018-07-18 12:45:06 UTC

@Timcast hollywood is killing itself , big budget movies are moving to the digital universe , and even that is hurting

2018-07-18 12:45:39 UTC

There was a film festival that banned amazon or netflix originals from participating

2018-07-18 12:46:19 UTC

It was netflix that got banned from cannes

2018-07-18 12:52:06 UTC

It reminds me of youtubes growth stealing the msm , tv 📺 , audiences , then the msm big 4-5 companies planned and attacked youtube via the adpocalypse and all that other bs instead of google/youtube telling them to eff off they caved in and now youtube is “helping” them with 25$million investment

2018-07-18 12:52:28 UTC

Yeah, that was bullshit

2018-07-18 12:52:43 UTC

"We're investing in dying companies because they can't compete themselves"

2018-07-18 12:54:52 UTC

@Rabbi Shekels I think the netflix ban at the cannes was more about them being straight snobs and disliking the "new" media models. I'm not 100% on the whole issue however.

2018-07-18 12:55:24 UTC

Probably to ensure that "genuine" films make it in to ensure the niche fans get what they want.

2018-07-18 12:55:34 UTC

Thinning the fanbase to the dediecated fanatics.

2018-07-18 12:55:54 UTC

Sounds about right

2018-07-18 12:56:33 UTC

I mean, if anything, netflix series would flood the cannes, its to preserve its origins for allowing indies to florish

2018-07-18 12:56:54 UTC

Thats the issue when you mainstream a community

2018-07-18 12:58:32 UTC

@The Beatles are just ok yeah i did a quick google on it , some stories says they got banned others say netflix pulled out

2018-07-18 13:01:08 UTC

@Revan there is a good video by mr obvious that talks about it ... damn man his account got banned by youtube wtf

2018-07-18 13:02:26 UTC

I’ve noticed that phenomenon in the local food market. It’s not so much about the product but about WHERE it came from - its location, travel and treatment. People are buying a narrative – an experience – rather than just a product to consume. I suppose the same goes for films. It’s not what the film is about but rather what low-budget indie director weathered the storm of corporate influence to something, something, something….….

2018-07-18 13:03:45 UTC

@The Beatles are just ok dude , people are definitely being manipulated msm , youtube , twitter

2018-07-18 13:04:03 UTC

All about the narrative

2018-07-18 13:05:12 UTC

You see it in the craft beer world, hell even in "mountain spring" water.

2018-07-18 13:05:30 UTC

💯 agree

2018-07-18 13:06:27 UTC

I guarantee you that if someone could make a compelling story as to where a pebble came from they could sell it like it were the most valuable thing on the planet.

2018-07-18 13:07:08 UTC

My burger just can't be good, it has to be from a cow who was pampered, roamed the wild, helped a lost child and eventually died of old age.

2018-07-18 13:07:11 UTC

@Revan as long as that pebble supports feminism and its pronouns is zhe people will buy it
