@Blackhawk342 I'd actually emphasize the Equal opportunity angle. It drives a nice wedge and most people (minorities included) really want "equal opportunity" It's only really academics and activists at this point who favor "equity"

Almost everybody agrees that textbooks are way too expensive because the publishers have monopolies on them

But there is a lot of bias being introduced in school books now.

It's a bunch of philosophizing. But it plays well and establishes a point.

@Dusty Morgan You have no idea. There are schools Using A People's History of the United States as an unbiased text.

I think the reason text boxes are expensive is because where they are made at.

If you can introduce legislation that forces competition in the textbook market, that forces prices down and will potentially also create less biased textbooks at the same time

Not to mention all the museums reworking themselves for the agenda.

you gotta know how to express things in ways that appeal to your base but arent obvious to the extremes i guess

@Revan Not really. The issue is that writing textbooks is actually pretty hard and unpopular.

Oh that is a great idea Revan, free market tends to drive prices down... but there is the problem with equality of the books.

Textbooks are essentially a monoply

They might cut corners to save money aka miss important lessons.

There's really 2 education systems right now.

California and TX.

People will whole heartedly support it

Because these are the biggest states.

Obviously, you'd want TX. CA is nothing but Social Justice. TX is balanced.
