Does weed actually help with depression or is that shit potheads say to make excuses?

i'd say indica can help (higher CBD, less THC), but its not fix by any standard, just worth it if its like major depression and life feels like its completely crumbling down around you. Better diet and exercise probably is most effective external stuff one can do. internally for me hanging out with old family members before they died seemed to cure it (aka experience that gave me unshakable meaning)

2018-09-02 09:00:37 UTC

can't say it helps depression itself,

But my experience, with it, you definately stop worrying in the moment

2018-09-02 09:01:04 UTC

I'm vegan

2018-09-02 09:01:22 UTC

Well

2018-09-02 09:01:25 UTC

My parents are

2018-09-02 09:01:46 UTC

one **good** trip on psilocybin can be very effective, intentional not recreational, but can't tell you how to assure a good trip. never did it, just there is tonnes of literature about it, assuming we are going to give credit to drugs

2018-09-02 09:01:48 UTC

So I'm forced into it

2018-09-02 09:03:36 UTC

Only thing I can really get it weed

2018-09-02 09:03:51 UTC

Can't get actual ADs

2018-09-02 09:04:12 UTC

that sucks... on diet one friend noted getting sufficient 'iodine, selenium, vitamin c, magnesium' helped them the most. but no clue if that would work for anybody else

2018-09-02 09:05:18 UTC

are you allowed to eat eggs?

2018-09-02 09:05:22 UTC

No

2018-09-02 09:05:26 UTC

They're not vegan

2018-09-02 09:05:51 UTC

Can't afford my own cookware/food either

2018-09-02 09:08:49 UTC

who knows, wish you best of luck, depression is a bitch

2018-09-02 09:11:21 UTC

i'd just look into diet and get whatever you think you aren't getting much of by w/e means possible

2018-09-02 09:37:41 UTC

I never understood how minorities can shout on about racism while doing nothing to address the way they go about their lives that would enable a racist's view that that/those races are inferior

2018-09-02 09:40:35 UTC

the welfare state itself is literally an example of racism, as it's based off of the assumption that without the taxpayer's forced charity, they're incapable of doing anything.

2018-09-02 09:40:48 UTC

same goes with shit like affirmative action

2018-09-02 09:41:18 UTC

its just based off the assumption that minorities aren't smart enough or capable enough to get into a prestigious university

2018-09-02 09:41:48 UTC

and the sad part is that minorities actually defend these things as if to accept their inferiority

2018-09-02 09:46:00 UTC

can't forget that infamous lyndon b johnson quote: "i'll have those n*****s voting democratic for the next 200 years"

2018-09-02 09:52:54 UTC

Ah, Bigotry of low expectations

2018-09-02 09:53:18 UTC

The sympathetic brand of racism

2018-09-02 09:55:21 UTC

The world tried shitty ideologies once and it didnt work

2018-09-02 09:55:29 UTC

but in the 21st century weve advanced so much

2018-09-02 09:56:07 UTC

Now those ideologies are nice sounding and slowly brainwash people instead of forcefully making their ideas the norm

2018-09-02 09:56:18 UTC

I disagree.

2018-09-02 09:56:30 UTC

The truth is, even if the world has advanced

2018-09-02 09:56:33 UTC

Humans haven't

2018-09-02 09:56:53 UTC

We're the same idiots as the ones in the 20th century

2018-09-02 09:57:14 UTC

Ideologies never die

2018-09-02 09:57:23 UTC

They find new ways to spread

2018-09-02 09:58:12 UTC

And sometimes, the ideas don't even need to evolve, in order to spread

2018-09-02 09:58:29 UTC

Think of the Jewish question

2018-09-02 09:58:46 UTC

It's based on a fact that is bulletproof

2018-09-02 09:59:04 UTC

So it doesn't need to change

2018-09-02 10:16:38 UTC

well I mean
