2018-09-05 15:33:35 UTC

2018-09-05 15:33:38 UTC

and then the post's permissions got automatically changed from public to just me

2018-09-05 15:34:12 UTC

lol that guy

2018-09-05 15:34:27 UTC

So two things I think are being lost here are as follows:
1) the higher ups care about money, which is why this endeavor will inevitably fail
2) the individuals at the higher rungs will walk away without any personal financial damage. Heck, if they have the right president in at the time of failure they could get bailed out

2018-09-05 15:34:30 UTC

i seen his video on how college is irrelevant because of how fast things are moving

2018-09-05 15:35:55 UTC

Well if only we could bring back vocational training

2018-09-05 15:36:36 UTC

If only there was heavy demand in trades and technical fields OH WAIT

2018-09-05 15:36:45 UTC

Usually companies expect a level of competency from new employees who wish to work there. But the responsibility of training has moved from the companies themselves to universities.

2018-09-05 15:37:08 UTC

And well, unis move so quickly that shits outdated by the time you finish the course.

2018-09-05 15:37:16 UTC

There can be heavy demand, but are there apprenticeships?

2018-09-05 15:37:18 UTC

🙄

2018-09-05 15:37:22 UTC

Demand isn't high enough, then.

2018-09-05 15:37:25 UTC

Demand harder.

2018-09-05 15:37:36 UTC

Here there are. It's enough that the government started advertising

2018-09-05 15:37:39 UTC

Back in NZ, theres a demand for plumbers.

2018-09-05 15:37:50 UTC

And electricians.

2018-09-05 15:38:03 UTC

Plumbers make the big bucks

2018-09-05 15:38:47 UTC

Only issue I have with the trades is it's monopolized by union assholes

2018-09-05 15:38:53 UTC

My country has the opposite problem. Over 70% of the students end up in engineering, and there's such an oversaturation that engineers are paid about 800 USD a month

2018-09-05 15:38:55 UTC

Yeah.

2018-09-05 15:39:00 UTC

Union faggots.

2018-09-05 15:39:12 UTC

The only winning move is not to play.

2018-09-05 15:39:12 UTC

Technical jobs are still exploding though

2018-09-05 15:39:36 UTC

I don't really believe you.

2018-09-05 15:39:39 UTC

Everyone needs someone to make/test/maintain their computer/network/data center

2018-09-05 15:39:41 UTC

Problem is peopel started bitching when thatcher got rid of their powers

2018-09-05 15:40:00 UTC

Why do you think there are so many Indians in Google and Twitter?

2018-09-05 15:40:25 UTC

People are literally leaving because they are over educated

2018-09-05 15:40:44 UTC

Yeah India needs a more diverse job market for sure

2018-09-05 15:40:53 UTC

It's amazing what's been accomplished there though

2018-09-05 15:40:54 UTC

Well, india really needs to fix itself

2018-09-05 15:41:18 UTC

Well, just the pop issue.

2018-09-05 15:41:20 UTC

I'd say that, to some extent, that's true of anywhere

2018-09-05 15:41:22 UTC

But well, china tried.

2018-09-05 15:41:26 UTC

We have a job market, the people just aren't hirable

2018-09-05 15:41:28 UTC

Oh for population

2018-09-05 15:41:34 UTC

Outsourcing was the most disgusting thing to become normal.

2018-09-05 15:41:41 UTC

Isn't that driven by ethnic/religious tension?

2018-09-05 15:41:49 UTC

Well too many people, so guess what, people outsource to them
