I think a lot of them don't honestly care about shame. we live in a shameless modern world, where if you shame, you are the bad person, the person being shamed is now even more of a victim than before, but they don't use shame and humiliation to self reflect. they use it as fuel for their own internalized fire.

I laugh everytime i see someone saying that they're going to "talk" or "debate" with the possible protesters. that's not what they're here for, they're here to throw big buzz words which make generalized assumptions about the group of attendees to this event like "racist, biggot, fascist, homophobe..." the list goes on. they've lost their spice however to these words, so, the next line of action would be a physical confrontation, which, we're all planning for the worst and hoping for the best in regards.
