The high adjudication rate was in NV I think, and they "fixed" it by adjusting the tolerance on signature matches. GA just didn't really do matching at all.
@james j GA or NV
GA you needed 3 election judges to agree on mismatch bc of consent decree.
More people involved=more subjective
Actually just favors the default of "match"
It was logistically impossible to do that process and complete the count in the time they did. They really should have audited the signatures in Fulton. For real
GA is ridiculous.
Litigate to keep rolls dirty, make signature matching impossible.
@james j you have to check the signature on the ballot envelope before you can open it
@james j that's in dispute. And comparing spoilage rates from different elections makes me less confident in the result. Doesn't help that there was a huge amount of litigating over the summer to set up just the circumstance
@james j Republicans claim that they were removed from the ballot counting sites and this is supported by contemporaneous news reporting from the ABC affiliate in Georgia
@james j there's video of it, there's contemporaneous news reports about it, and it hasn't been adjudicated in a court of law. So, it is in dispute
@james j You're taking the word of somebody that's a party to the charge of voter fraud you can't do that
@james j what is your idea of a dispute then?
It was in dispute from Paul watchers not Trump supporters
Okay so we're just supposed to accept without any scrutiny that five states simultaneously stopped counting, Georgia lied about a busted pipe, we have news reports that poll watchers were removed from the vote counting sites, and there was basically no signature matching. Anybody who disagrees with the official narrative is a conspiracy theorist? Georgia is garbage
@james j yeah that's a totally different issue now isn't it?
I disagree. They have done nothing to increase confidence in the outcome
@james j I'm not talking about all these other claims. I'm talking specifically about the removal of ballot watchers, and I'm talking about the lack of signature matching. If they did a an actual signature audit I would be much more confident in the results.
Man my voice recognition thing sucks
That's not an audit, and it wasn't in Fulton county.
That is the one where they found that Gabriel Sterling's address had been used to forge a ballot application though
No it's worse than an audit because they kept the observers a hundred feet away from the balance again
F*** this voice recognition!
I'm talking about observers at this so-called audit
I don't know if you guys want to live in a world where you can litigate your way to keeping voter rolls dirty, relaxing signature requirements, stopping vote counting abruptly in the middle of the night, dumping abnormal results in the dead of night, and avoid real signature audits, then I guess Georgia is a good model. We won't find common ground.
@TaLoN132 have you been following the news? Stacey Abrams sister just ruled to allow $4,000 inactive voters on the voter roll
@meglide am I saying that?
@james j I haven't said anything about any affidavits at all. Concerned about signatures, and very suspicious about what happened on election night in Georgia and Pennsylvania and any other state that stopped abruptly in the middle of the night.
It hasn't really been adjudicated in court.
@how so? And how did the plaintiff have standing?
Psy ops
Elections used to be transparent and simple. Prefer going back to that instead of psy ops
doesn't help that there was litigation all summer to relax signature matching standards and keep voter rolls dirty
People are just supposed to trust that
Forcing three judges to agree on a mismatch is basically tantamount to not doing signature matching at all. All it does is increase the possibility of a fraudulent ballot being counted.
We've been over this several times already and I'm going to probably just head out. whether it would have changed the outcome of the election or not as a completely different issue. I'm saying that this election was dysfunctional especially in Georgia and Pennsylvania. if you guys like what you see there you may want to move to a third world country cuz it's basically what it is.
I read basically the same thing about an hour ago when somebody else posted it
And I responded to it as well. there was no examination of Fulton county and there was no involvement of Democrat or Republican party and examining the ballots.
They did not examine the ballots! A Happy New year to you all
Doesn't help that they suck.
They just plain suck by any measure. Just like 99% of congress
You find other things good with the Republican candidates in GA? @meglide
What harm? GOP sucks.
Never gonna happen anyway
You can't harm the election system any more than it already is
It's straight up gah-bage
How can it get any worse?
The free-for-all we have now is diabolical
No signature checks in PA = straight garbage
Litigating to keep rolls dirty in GA = garbage
Litigating to make signature checks impossible in GA = garbage
Yeah back in 05 when Carter warned about absentee ballots
They were litigated this summer
This is a law server?
Democrats are the ones that brought the suits. all this stuff was in the name of Corona virus. This was not around 4 years ago.
Let's see just take a bunch of ballots from dirty rolls and submit them after removing observers. Easy
The litigation was the hard part. Only a few people have to be compromised
I meant besides the litigation part. Just need someone who can"send" ballots to voters left on the roll
Yes. Federalism means control to state legislatures not machines
Via legislature. That's the electors clause. What happened in PA?
PA is THE example we were talking about.court ordered no signature checks. Court ordered extended deadline. Neither was in the original legislation.
Violation of electors clause
If only any of these suits made it to the discovery phase
Need access to the evidence
I didn't say anything other than it was garbage. That's logically unimpeachable
Not arguing. Viva la fraud
Are we talking signatures on Pennsylvania ballots? Cuz that's the only thing I'm talking about
In my opinion the only defects that are apparent is in the signature check
This is all rather beside the point it doesn't matter. The electoral college already cast as votes. I'm just saying that the legislature shouldn't pass a law only to have the judiciary completely rewrite it
Well I'm not talking data. The Pennsylvania supreme Court literally changed the deadline for mail and ballots, and they also prohibited spoilage from signatur e mismatch
If that's not garbage I don't know what is
Undoubtedly. Still garbage
Sure. That's why a state supreme court should not be more powerful than a state's legislature
Separate but equal
Then how come it was able to rewrite legislation
In Pennsylvania at least
You're telling me that the court can literally change a date that the legislature set and that's proper
In third world countries
If you're straight up changing dates set by the legislature, then that's a clear violation of the electors clause
Okay well it's no better when they do it
They did not need any postmarks at all
Excuse the source it's the first one I found:https://dailycaller.com/2020/10/19/supreme-court-pennsylvania-mail-in-ballot-postmarked/
So said the people who are party to the dispute
Anyway Pennsylvania election was garbage. Happy New year
Oh God. If it's Wood, prepare for a shit show.
Do people live in here? This country's elections are absolute garbage. There's no debate.
IDK what you're talking about, but safeguards? Please. Not in this country
What is left to debate?
Biden elected by electoral college in worst run election since 1960
Case closed
Like signature checks on mail in ballots which is the purported cohort of ballots that got Biden elected. Or wait
There's debate. And then there's nattering. I'll show myself out and go somewhere more intellectual. Like the truck stop.
