is anyone certain on the forming of the universe
theres alot science still doesnt no
i believe its when people think there is an indifferent creator
but ive heard a type of deism where people think the crator set the foundation and left the universe
an indifferent creator doesnt care about our lifes
the christian creator cares verymuch about our lives
thats the difference
cause hes indifferent on what we as people do
hes not a god that watches us
hes just one that laid the foundation and left
now i dont believe that
some people believe god is
an omniphysical god
yes
to some people
some people crave an answer so they need that
which i can respect to a degree
what
@JCEN youre not following what im saying well
no
and you cant dissprove it
so its not worth arguing about
people that believe in a kind of deist creator i wouldnt disagree with
i dont believe in it
im defending @Deleted User stance cause its a fine stance to have
no obviously
but if you cant dissprove it it doesnt make it untrue
@Deleted User thats what im seeing
no its not argument from ignorance
but you can dissprove that
you cant dissprove a indifferent creator
cya
passerby read what i said in the religion chat
thats what speciation is
no wait
speciation is a part of evolution
it happened in humans
with neanderthals
my example of speciation was completley correct
but you said yes and no
yes
but we're only talking about speciation
starting small
but adaptions are a little bit different
i had a hard time understanding adaptions
so like a callus is an adaption
i literally cant even explain it
so like how did life start
?
so the origin of life is unknown i know that, and i dont know enough to go back to how we evolved from bacteria or at least i dont remember enough.
but
i can answer the animals to plants
plants did not evolve into animals
but plants and animals would have a common ancestor
ill make a drawing lol
brb
beautiful isnt it
evolution works alot like a family tree
thats all ive talked about is speciation there are more parts to evolution than that
and honeslty just look it up
look for the evidence
its there
go on a reliable site
i have the perfect thing that you definetly wont watch
but it will answer your questions on how evolution works
this is the scientist richard dawkins christmas lectures
he does 5 of these and in each one explains a part of evolution
you can find the other 4 on youtube on his channel
we watched these in school
they are fantastic and im actually going to watch them back again
i promise you if you watch these you will understand evolution
i promise
and for the evidence you can go to the Smithonian website and look at the fossils that have been escavated
fossils that show the development of aquatic creatures, into amphibians, into reptiles
"But in order for me to abandon a belief that is very appealing to me, a belief that actually brings me peace, hope, all because of a theory seems.... I don't know .. not smart" - @Deleted User
i think that is totally understandable and reasonable
i felt the same way
so it is known the common ancestor between say a plant and the first animal like organism but i just dont know it
but
lets say it wasnt known
it could still safley be assumed because that how the rest of life works. its like one big family tree
ill find a diagram online
this is a horrible looking timeline lol but its the timeline and evolutionary tree of humans
jeez
you cant even read it lol
i really wish we could go into voice chat and i could explain the tree to you
this one is a bit better but i wish it had the lines
The very first one
Austrolepithicus
Then I guess not the very first one
The third one
Itโs a somewhat hard question to answer for me but maybe thatโs because of my ignorance. But I know a few reasons. For one they roamed the same parts of Africa as we did. We know that they did not go extinct that they clearly just evolved because of other fossils found of later evolution of the species.
And to be fair it is itโs own species
But slowly through times it evolved into other species which after many other changes turned into us
Thatโs a poor wording on how evolution works
