Had an NCO in my unit, that when I left he was at 217. Dude was a damn jump chaser

At 28 years old I was diagnosed with arthritis in both knees.

Talk about poor bastards, we had a staff sergeant in our unit with the nickname lucky. He burned in twice, got ran over, been shot, been electrocuted, and been blown up. Dude was 30 something but he looked like he was 80
