haven't had time to work out this past weak
I'll pick it back up next week
only 2 weeks
Not enough to say whether it works
Yeah
But
from what I know
for the guys who are really serious about getting big, periodization is the only option
unless you want to shrink your balls like a fag
I do weighted pull ups as my biggest goal
I'm at 113 lbs atm
Gains are slowing down
But I haven't periodized yet
So I'm hoping that will help
eating 3k+ calories a day is mandatory as well
Calorie surplus is a real tool
Make your own program
do exercises that feel good to you
so long as they hit all the muscle groups
@pa pa pa pa pa~#6005 duh
you know me
:^)
Steroids are for fags
My bro is bigger than most guys on steroids and is all natural
you can do amazing things with your body so long as you do them correctly with discipline
Don't do roids
it's pretty much just vanity personified
As for the schedule
it's really not a big comittment
and let me tell you why
Yes, you need to keep it consistant
However
you can literally take a month break without loss in strength
It's really, really hard to lose muscle
so the worst thing that can happen is you stop gaining, unless you really try hard to slack off
Right
so don't worry about comittment
if life gets too busy then deal with life
Always time to lift afterwards
then lift
๐ช๐ป
also
don't forget cardio
everyone forgets cardio
there should be some rule that if you want to lift you first have to be able to run a mile
Too many people are going to die of heart attacks trying to lift some stupid weight because all they do is pick up heavy shit
12 weeks is extreme
I would guess 3 - 4 weeks before restarting your cycle
You don't even need to do exercises that are very different
They just need to work slightly different muscle groups
That's too autisticly specific
Like I said, try different things and stick with what works best
I don't do regular lifts if that's what you're asking
I use a machine for most
One handed bench press type motions
flys
maxed out my lat pull downs
Elevated weighted push ups
weighted pull ups, like I said before
Not really
I just do whatever feels best
weighted calisthenics are some of my motions
For the 113lbs weighted pull up i do 2 sets of 6 reps
For the machine stuff I've never actually measured the weight
I just stick to a set amount of reps
so
for my one handed bench, I usually stick to 2 sets of 10 reps
For flys I do the same
Like I said, I don't know how much weight
it's not listed
I'd have to measure it
On the fly? no.
160
what?
no
Was told I'm a fairly good public speaker, actually
lmao
I'm not some sort of giant, but I've put on 15 lbs of muscle since I've started
People tell me I'm noticably muscular
I've literally never found anyone that can do a heavier weighted pull up than me in real life
If you have any examples I'm open to hear it
nope
I do similar movements. Don't have a bench per say.
Not presses. Like I said, I do pull downs.
Oh here we go
So I'm essentially not getting stronger because I'm not doing "staple movements" is what you're proposing?
Like a little over a year
Newish, sure.
Buddy
Before you attempt to tell me everything I'm doing wrong and how I'm not doing things in whatever "staple" fashion you're going to propose, let me tell you this
Okay cool
Exactly
thanks
I'm pretty happy with my progress
I legit plan on challenging the world record for weighted pull up in the future
Yeah, 230
held by a spanish guy
It's not the only thing i care about, but it's the one I enjoy the most
?
Well, you were the one asking about what I do and what weights at how many reps
