Most people don't look to the event page for official information, especially considering in most cases no one puts official sensistive information on them because Antifa is watching them.

Typically if there are official organizers, they are expected to be proactive and reach out to the people involved and make sure they are up to speed.

So for all this talk about "pertinant information" I went and checked the pinned messages in all the relevant channels. Not one thing about not showing up early. I saw a call asking for security, but haven't seen anything pinned about there being official security details.

I'm not sure who your liason is, but from what I've seen the various groups aren't aware of any central coordination and working among themselves independently of this server. I.E. Heimbach saying he is showing up early with TWP and the League.

Hell last time I talked to my state Chairman about security for the event, he said the primary organizers were the Virginia League. So I kinda doubt he is aware you guys exist either.

Apparently they have also locked down reservations in the area. People have said they can't reserve locations in and around cville anymore.

WEll it is mainly an issue for Facebook and similar stuff, but it never hurts to be safe. They see where the traffic is coming from, not just IP stuff. So say you are browsing with your Facebook, see a link to it, click it, they see the profile the traffic came from.

That is how it was explained to me anyways, I'll fully admit I am not an expert on this. I just think it is better safe than sorry considering people much more knowledgeable than myself on the subject have advised always using archives of the sites.
