Isn't an ethnostate where only people of a certain racial or ethnic can be citizens within that nation? I would think there would be a little more to an ethnostate than simply a large congregation of the same people. I could be missing something, but I wouldn't know.

I've seen people call Japan an ethnostate, but I'm not sure if that's accurate. Even though their immigration laws are strict, they still allow other people in.

For a nation to be considered an ethnostate, does the government need to self-proclaim itself as an ethnostate, or can external peoples label a nation as an ethnostate as they see fit?

Is a homogenous population the only condition for an ethnostate?

I would think political views have more to do with individual personality more than racial or ethnic backgrounds. A majority of black people consider themselves Democrats, but suppose you raise a black child in a Republican or Independent household. Would the probability of him/her holding Democratic ideals change?

It seems like we pour so much into Israel but get little to nothing in return. Part of the reason Pro-Trump Christians like Israel so much is the Judeo-Christian religious lineage.

For some reason, a lot of people feel obligated to keep pouring as much money into Israel as possible.

We just need to stop giving out so much foreign aid and reinvest that into our infrastructure and border.

I don't think it's possible to change someone's mind. That is something they have to do for themselves. If someone's worldview gets turned upside down, they'll probably end up doubling down on what they believed before.

I'm just not someone who holds the same vigor or passion when it comes to things like this. I come off as apathetical sometimes.

I've never understood the whole political compass bit. If someone gets +2 pts to the right and -2 pts to the left, does that make them center? Someone could answer questions inverted to that of person A and still get center, but both of which would be exact opposites.
