Lost it at "live in a barn and have nothing to lose" ๐Ÿ˜‚

Those guys were not in IE just FYI.

@budjiman Steve Bennet is Patrick's Discord name

@budjiman no not at all, as long as you are comfortable with the risk of hostiles identifying you wearing IE material you are perfectly welcome to wear IE merch

Am I the only one that thinks the cricket sounds are comfy ๐Ÿ˜…

Patrick meant DONโ€™T flyer PRIVATE universities. Public ones are fine

As a coordinator, I approve of this message.

@Logan congratulations, brother! Hope our children will get to know each other one day ๐Ÿ˜

Iโ€™ve gotten 2-3 junk calls on my google number in the 3 Years Iโ€™ve had it

Having an official IE meeting where you get together and shoot guns is a good way to get smeared as a militia group in the mind of the public.

@NateDahl76 we are having a Halloween pumpkin carving contest ๐ŸŽƒ

In TX

lmaoo

@Jacob we are going to project that orange background spooky IE image during our Halloween party, thank you!

@Jacob thatโ€™s a great image. And we already have a projector we will be using, so why not?!

Personally, Iโ€™d like to forget about Nehlen entirely

Alright, gonna eat dinner with the wife now. Have a good night guys!

Yes! IE song!

We need more songs to sing, for real

Really do have to go now, dinner is getting cold haha. Have fun guys

Wow...this is embarrassing.

Mouth breathers, please stop

Goodnight brother

sounds very interesting

Oy! Hit me with your best book suggestions for a book discussion group.

we've already read (off the top of my head):
-Why We Fight
-Dedication and Leadership
-5th Political Theory
-Culture of Critique

No, it's a former blog

I compiled selected readings of it

No, not really.

But ok

This is for our local community in Austin

I will refrain from dignifying that with a response

@Alex Kolchak - NY what is โ€œThe Culture of Narcissismโ€ Christopher Lasch about?

You think it's useful/enlightening? An interesting read?

Interesting. I think most people in the group know we aren't evil. haha

Interesting! I will add that to the suggestion list, thanks Alex!

That is certainly unusual, but I kind of like things like that personally @VinceChaos. Just not sure how interested others in the group would be

"Dopamine receptors are very fragile and can be rewired given the right stimuli. If positive association is given to being gay or gay traits added dopamine release you can wire the brain."

^ This would appear true based on the studies and presentations of one particular doctor that presented findings to the US senate. I forget her name but she had research showing how formerly straight men "became" gay after being meth addicts. The long and short of it was that they did gay stuff for meth > brains became rewired to associate gay stuff with meth high.

I used to think being gay was 100% something determined before/during birth, but I do not think so anymore based on what gays have told me and what I've read since.

Every single homosexual I have met that I've had the opportunity to speak with frankly has admitted to being the victim of sexual abuse

Plus, I would add: I have some in-laws. Super religious family. 2 boys. 1 of them is retarded (mind of a 9yr)....both of them are gay.

I'll put it this way, none of the people in that family will be alone with any of my children.

The retarded one offered to change my son's diaper. I politely declined. He then told me how much he loved changing diapers at church. My blood was boiling at how disgusting that family is,but what are you going to say without causing massive family issues? All I could do was reaffirm that my wife understood these people will never be around our children without us being present

Obviously most people who are abused do not become homosexuals, but almost all homosexuals have been abused from what I can tell

This is a distasteful topic we probably shouldn't dwell on...we aren't going to solve the issue of homosexuality here haha.

Long and short of it, we need people able to do studies and find more out about it without being hindered by political correctness. Then we can actually get somewhere. I fear that we will never really know until this is done.

That is interesting

YEAH

Men shouldn't change anyone but their own biological children's diapers.

Yeah, it's gross. It's a diaper lol

For those that are interested from before, these are a few of the short list of books we're considering for our book discussion group:
1. Josรฉ Pedro Zuquete, The Identitarians: The Movement against Globalism and Islam in Europe
2. Chuck Palahniuk - Adjustment Day: A Novel
3. Chris Voss with Tahl Raz, Never Split the Difference: Negotiating as if Your Life Depended on It
4. Paul Fusell - Class (just because I know it is a fun and interesting read).

Jacob, if either of those things happen...I pitty you

I'm not saying it isn't generally true, I suspect it is, but my mom is a massive shitlib, and she has a pretty strong disgust reaction.

@PatrickAZ What do you mean?

Yeah, but at that point it almost* doesn't matter. For all practical purposes they are genetic dead ends and would not be welcome with the rest of MY family, in any case.

@PatrickAZ I think there is an online book discussion group in IE. I am talking about my local group, that has 2 a month.

You don't have to hate something to be disgusted by or or not want it around your family.

I don't hate homosexuals (I pity them), though I do detest being around them.

For me, I would not want either homosexuals or...those falling into the *other* category around my family. That's the most important practical delineation from my perspective.

The majority are highly degenerate and destruction. Yet I know homosexuals that aren't terrible people, including some that I respect and have helped out our movement considerably. More than most of the people in this conversation, I would bet. But they do not have any place in or around my family or in our communities of families.

I am ...highly skeptical of any kind of "reformed" homosexual.

The only one that basically claimed to be like that (after it was revealed) was a nut job that had to be removed from our community. This was years ago but the guy caused a lot of problems lol.

Yikes.

I would not want such a character around my family.

Nor would I be comfortable with such a person raising children

I wouldn't, for example, want my kids playing and hanging out with kids whose father is a "reformed" homosexual

Let's not forget plenty of gay men have been and are married with kids

Let's try to keep the conversation a bit more palatable and less vulgar @bspon002. Let's not forget there are women and others in this chat that probably don't want to see this conversation.

@Grayson I am well aware.

But that doesn't change the fact that when I do know, I don't want such people around my family.

So, has anyone read any of these books (I've only read #4)?
1. Josรฉ Pedro Zuquete, The Identitarians: The Movement against Globalism and Islam in Europe
2. Chuck Palahniuk - Adjustment Day: A Novel
3. Chris Voss with Tahl Raz, Never Split the Difference: Negotiating as if Your Life Depended on It
4. Paul Fusell - Class

I read most of Chuck's stuff up to arounf 2007 but nothing since then

All of those were recommended by people like us

Nice. @DairyMaxx Do you think it would be a good book for a discussion group?

ahh ok

I figured it would be more just for fun. It's ok to do some light books too, provided it's a break and not the norm

huwhite pyramids be fun doe<:usinnoodle:420778112226164736>

You know what's not fun? A kid too young to know how to blow his nose. My little man is sick right now and we are constantly wiping his upper lip. lol

Are...you kidding or serious?

that is insane

sounds funny, but really out there

and holy shit, how has this not been attacked as retardly racist? I mean, I haven't followed it at all so I wouldn't know but the whole "we was just joking" on white people to see how much they'd believe bit...yikes haha

chuck isn't Chosen, is he? I thought he wasn't

oh no kidding

that's wild

Yeah, I'm not totally surprised though. Being familiar with his older work, that is.

He is of the ilk of gays that likes being rebellious and pushing *actual* limits, not the ones you get rewarded for. He's always attempted to be at least a little legitimately edgy

trying to predict what is going to happen politically is pretty fruitless imo. if it matters to you, you should call the WH, call your reps etc. as Patrick and FTN have recommend and then get back to focusing on yourself and your local community.

@Nico The Great - CA I have a great book somewhere in my library that first has you take the MB personality test then shows which careers/jobs are most common among your personality type. Although I regularly test into 2 different personalities depending on how the questions are asked, I was shocked at how accurate it was with my personality type and the kinds of careers that appeal to me (and that I've done).

I have actually tested as 3 different ones, but I get 2 more commonly. I'd have to look it up to remember which ones they were.

Anything that puts you into a category isn't going to be 100% correct. I am pretty unusual in that I can be both very extroverted (which I think I lean to) but I also enjoy my personal time and reflection (thus why I get introverted too).

The thing is, just because it isn't 100% accurate doesn't mean it isn't useful.

They vary A LOT on usefulness.

In-depth/real MB personality tests have proven to be the most useful out of the ones I've taken.

Yes, among less intelligent people with shitty morals/beliefs I find social interactions don't come hard (I'm pretty comfortable socially), I can always find or try to find common ground, BUT social interactions of these kind are very TAXING on me and I find I need alone time or to get away from these people before too long.

Alternatively, around intelligent, open-minded people/people that share similar beliefs, I find social interactions energizing.

Clearly it is useful, otherwise it would be a complete waste of time and show zero utility.

The fact that these personality types show strong correlations mean they are measuring something useful, to varying degrees of course

Nah, genetics plays too much of a role in such things as personality.

You can change your personality to a significant degree, but there are limitations

And those limitations are often more likely to be the determining factor in someone's personality than their ability to change.

There are real things (e.g. chemical changes) that can alter your personality to some degree like regular exercise, diet etc, but those usually don't make DRAMATIC changes in your personality. A narcissistic person, for example, will not become significantly less narcissistic if they do or do not exercise or use some diet.

I guess it depends on the person, but I've known a number of anti-social personality disorder types (psychopaths of various stripes) that have never and will never change IMO.
