The a couple of problems I have with the credit limit bill:
1. It isn't indexed to the Federal Funds rate which will make it difficult to reduce borrowing during periods of high inflation. Mortgages and other lines of credit are indexed to the Federal Funds or Federal Discount rates, this should be too.
2. It doesn't seem to extend to payday loan lenders. This is a big area of usury that needs a cap as well.
Other than those, it seems like a decent bill that should get populist support.
Looks like I missed alot. No, the gov didn't test out a killswitch, it just looks like GCP went down. This is unfortunately too normal and has happened to AWS and Azure multiple times before.
Hell, even @mattforney got the fuck out of Chicago. Even Matt Heimbach had the sense to live in Paoli, where nobody cares if you're a "nazi" and any Antifa that tried to start shit would get shot, possibly by the cops themselves.
It's still close enough that some member of the goon squad could make an attempt. There's probably a fair amount of Antifa in Rogers Park, cheap enough they could live there on a barista wage, but gentrifying.
You can get by doing remote work in more rural areas. Somewhere like Paoli is probably too rural (broadband Internet is bad or non-existant) but as long as you have decent Internet and local things to do is good.
Lots of small towns are named after European cities. Besides Paoli, the towns are called English, Salem, Leavenworth, Palmyra, Marengo, etc. Paoli was probably some Italian family name.
Whenever I go caving, it's usually north of Paoli. The terrain isn't that great for farming but there are several hardwood factories and stone quarries around.
Parrott and Heimbach seem like your average white rednecks who just got into public neo-Nazi shit. Being abusive, having affairs, or getting into fights is not uncommon for them. These jokers just did it all at the same time and did it while publicly preaching a stupid ideology.

I expect Tulsi will get some cabinet or ambassador position in the administation of whoever wins 2020. She'd do a better job as UN ambassador than Nikki Haley did. Her foreign policy is good and she's not in the cabal group of warmongers or neocons.
If/when I get sacked, I might donate some plasma to pay the bills while I applied to other jobs. Heimbach on the other hand can't find work anywhere, so it's a last resort for him. If he wasn't so odious, there's a nice Taco Bell in Paoli that sells excellent chilli cheese burritos.
He hasn't learned the first lesson of the Internet, *don't feed the fucking trolls*. If he just silently nuked them, they'd go away. Instead his inner sperg is coming out and it's going to destroy him if he doesn't reign it back in.
Vox delivers if it is books or comics. I haven't done anything with Unauthorized, but I imagine it's messy. It's a third-party project and subject to all the problems that traditional streaming systems have.
@Deleted User Incorrect, it is its own platform based on uscreen (https://www.uscreen.tv/). They have streaming, but the bandwidth costs are already high on just VOD so he doesn't want to enable it.
@balaclavaman Interesting why Vox would target him and not RotC too. I'd love to see the details on how Owen got swatted, did it actually occur, who called it in, what happened, etc.
@Deleted User Confirmed it. It's using Akamai's CDN, but there's Vimeo fingerprints all over it. The preview is coming from vimeocdn.com and the video chunks have a -vimeo suffix on the Akamai CDN subdomain. The player JS is Plyr, but the video itself is streamed from Vimeo.
He admits to using Vimeo in DS 551. I think they're using it to avoid bandwidth costs, which are fairly large unless you use WebTorrent like BitChute or PeerTube.
That tutu photo from <#442305291774722049> was from when we raised a lot of money for a charity. Spacebunny said if we raised a certain amount, she'd run in a tutu and if we raised a larger amount Vox would too. He thought it was amusing and laughed at our ribbing him for it.
Same with the Rabid Puppies. We trolled the Hugos into self-destructing by nominating works like Space Raptor Butt Invasion. They changed the rules to some complicated formula to get rid of us. It was fun on a bun.
BallZ#5141 Similar, except I'm more loyal. Owen has always rubbed me the wrong way, and his influence on Vox has been detrimental. "Gamma" has become less of a descriptive term and more of a generic insult that nobody outside the circle understands.
I'm still Dread Ilk and read the blog, but I'm standing back and letting Vox be on his own for this one. If he Maddoxes himself, it'll be his own fault and that of the LLoE.
@Deleted User It'll be even worse if he goes through with suing Davey Crocko, RealOwenBenjamin, or ROTC. Depending on the jurisdiction, he might have to face anti-SLAPP motions. It'll be a trainwreck Maddox-style suit with similar results.
I could see him going after the actual swatter (assuming there was an actual swatting and Owen isn't lying or exaggerating). That would satiate the retards and most people would support it (swatters are almost universally hated).
@BLACKSUN There's a fair amount of them. I can understand being a fan of Owen if all you've seen is his comedy bits, but these guys have seen his videos and the guy is a complete maniac.
