Yes, people do buy them.

2017-09-25 01:01:53 UTC [Cascade Front #general]

It would depend on the amount and quality of land I have. The real money is in growing things people have never heard of, like this https://www.starkbros.com/products/berry-plants/kiwi-berry-vines/anna-hardy-kiwi

@Rin it depends on the local market. In my experience people will drive 2 hours one way to try to sell at my cities farmer's market. It may not be a great source of income, but it's better than nothing.

2017-09-25 01:12:18 UTC [Cascade Front #general]

@Rin more than likely will be living far from any large city like portland or seattle. Land is too expensive buy near them. What kind of job are you gonna have that lets you take two weeks of in the spring to plant, two weeks in the fall to harvest and plenty of time inbetween watering and weeding. Either you live with us and work a 40hr/week in an office or you have a part time job that lets you take time off to work your fields.

@Rin what i'm saying is that most of the people on this server either work min wage jobs or are neets. The few people who don't, work in IT and we won't have internet when this is first started. If you wanna commute an hour a day to a city go ahead. Just don't complain about a nigger mugging you on your walk to your car.

2017-09-25 01:20:32 UTC [Cascade Front #general]

Stuff like woodworking is do able without internet, IT work isn't one of those jobs.

2017-09-25 01:24:45 UTC [Cascade Front #general]

@Rin those kiwis I posted are native to siberia, so I think we can grow them. the reason most people don't grow those crops is because they aren't the super improved monsanto frankenstiens. you could grow something like this http://www.rareseeds.com/glass-gem-corn-/ and charge an arm and a leg to the city dwelling hipsters.

2017-09-25 01:26:09 UTC [Cascade Front #general]

Once a week is fine. Driving 40 mintutes one way each day isn't.

2017-09-25 01:27:56 UTC [Cascade Front #general]

You can make a greenhouse with pvc and greenhouse plastic.

2017-09-25 01:30:17 UTC [Cascade Front #general]

@Rin I'm aware, I have a 30 minute one way right now. I'd rather be doing something useful than be stuck in the car. Youre in CA so you don't have to deal with snow. that stuff fucks up commuting bad.

2017-09-25 01:30:44 UTC [Cascade Front #general]

@Nix they fight over gibs.

2017-09-25 01:32:04 UTC [Cascade Front #general]

@Rin do you remember a few years ago when atlanta was paralyzed by 2 inches of snow. We'd be moving to an area that gets 10 times as much.

2017-09-25 01:36:36 UTC [Cascade Front #general]

Dude in high school I remember have to wake up early to shovel out my driveway from the 6 inches we got the night before so

2017-09-25 01:36:47 UTC [Cascade Front #general]

I could drive to school.

2017-09-28 01:33:54 UTC [Cascade Front #club-chat]

Hey guys, just got home. I think I'm gonna skip this one. If you have another planned I'm usually free after 9pm central everynight and all of thursday and sunday.

2017-09-28 06:14:09 UTC [Cascade Front #general]

Isn't Jason (((Kessler))) organzing the rally that right wingers are supposed to bring guns to? I'd rather have a rally led by someone who isn't responsible for the Charolettesville cluster fuck. Plus, isn't he a former CNN employee?

have to make a phone call back in 2 minutes.

2017-09-28 21:25:53 UTC [Cascade Front #club-chat]

I'd like to suggest triumph of will. Not all of us are storm fags, but we can at least all appreciate the great film.

2017-09-29 04:12:10 UTC [Cascade Front #general]

@Vaginal Herpes Should I bring my AR-15 to make it easier for the fbi to arrest me?

2017-09-29 04:14:46 UTC [Cascade Front #general]

they are infective because it gives (((them))) a chance to false flag us. add in the fact that it's cringey as fuck.

2017-09-29 04:22:15 UTC [Cascade Front #general]

@Orchid did you see the signs from the women's march. They are just as cringey as the kekistan larpers.

@Polak It really depends on your growing zone and annual rain amount.

@Polak I live in Wisconsin. This means that some vegtables like watermelon and sweet potatoes are off the table.

@Rin if you don't care about it lasting more than a few years you can make a greenhouse from $50 worth of pvc and painter's plastic.

I like the pvc ones because they are super easy to move and cheap to make.

if you're willing to buy 8 or 9mm plastic it should last a few years.

No duh. The real problem is that the larger diameter pvc doesn't bend well. I suppose you could use pex tubing instead.

any idea what thickness it was? I'd guess 3 or 4mm.

Light shouldn't be a problem if it doesn't have to compete with shade.

How was the plastic attached?

I'm talking about the plastic sheeting.

was it a solid piece that was glued on? I'd use zip ties attached to each support post.

It's hard to describe without having pictures. It would be a pvc skeleton linked together with tees and pipe to make the frame work with zip ties through grommets in the plastic to secure the skeleton.

Of course that would tear. It's like a giant sail that would catch the wind. It needs to have a bit of give to prevent it tearing.

I work in a hardware store that sells 8mm plastic. But for some reason I can't find it listed online.

yeah, you could try to attach the grommets to another piece of plastic and then glue that on to the sheeting.

i'd lean towards a clear caulk.

On second thought, canvass could be better glued onto the plastic without having to deal with the surface smoothness.

you would glue the canvass first then let it start to dry (30%), then place the plastic and canvass in a vice.

A full canvass structure wouldn't work. You need the light at all periods of the day otherwise most of the plants in the greenhouse won't get enough light to produce fruit.

You could probably get away with windows if you only used shade tolerant plants. You'd want plants that only need 3 or 4 hours of sunlight.

So, a clear roof with windows every few feet?

Oh shit, What if we used chicken wire attached the frame with plastic over that?

Yeah, I can't believe that I didn't think of it sooner.

Well at least 6 feet tall at the apex. I have no Idea how wide to make it.

1 acre

No, I live on an acre and a half if you include the house. I can't, I don't own the land.

Renting fucking sucks.

Plus, I have a few large trees in the yard so making something that could move would be better.

I have to ask, are looking to do something like orchid's plan? Or, are you gonna come be Bear Grills with ramen and me?

We aren't moving to Alaska, so there will always be civilization near by.

I'm not sure if this is the right thread, but something like this http://www.eugsters.com/ has the ability to make a ton of money if we're close enough to a large city.

It's 10 mins from where I live.

enough to justify purchasing land to make something like this. Any left over produce can be eaten or fed to pigs. It also lets us establish a way to show that we aren't just a bunch of ted kacynski inspired skinheads.

You also have to rember that these are rustbelt prices, not west coast prices.

We could win the hearts and minds of our fellow white people while making some money to further our cause.

Well, if we're two hours from seattle it probably wouldn't work. They have 15 acres of land and are somehow able to employ enough people to work 6 seperate locations and a bakery.

Now, add into this plan the fact that we could grow stuff like this http://www.rareseeds.com/glass-gem-corn-/. I think it would take a few years to setup, but after that we'd have a profitable, legal buisiness that helps whites reconnect with their roots.

We, could work with the local 4H and boy scout troops.

We donate a few sheep or goats to the 4h, then right it off on our taxes and cash in like crazy when the local news comes to cover our donation. The possibilities are endless. Free food to feed the homeless, field trips, Pick your own fruit.

The reason Cliven Bundy wasn't arrested for a year was because his community stood by him. We need the same thing to happen. (((They))) can't shoah us if the whole county loves us.

No, the weather in wisconsin is to unpredictable. Some years we have snow on the ground right now.

@Orchid you actually have a better climate in toronto due to the great lakes. It limits how cold your area can get.
