So I've been thinking about this for the last few days, I have so many questions and so many thoughts, do you think something like this might work?
Do we know of any similar experiments of attempts that have been attempted in the past that could be used as a model or basis, or at least a reference, I'm sure you've looked into it
Right but I don't imagine the government would take too kindly to an independant ethno state emerging from it's backside
I mean not specifically creating an ethno state but just general attempts at creating some sort of society
When I innitially found this and read all the material I imagined a community similar to perhaps the mormons or amish
well if we were discreet enough
Also I wanted to bring up the concerns in regards to vetting, keeping organized, make sure you have the most viable candidates, if everyone is let in things will fall apart

Good point, that in itself is a major dividing factor
It's still possible and I don't think it's too difficult to imagine someone who was completly off the scale, who would be willing to go that far
I once attempted to create my own society, community, on a minecraft server, the idea was founded mostly upon the works of Friedman, the idea of self effeciency and free market, etc. It was an abstract personal project that was meant to be fun, where my friends, people I knew could all hang out together and emulate a more traditional lifestyle type of thing, in doing so we ran across many inevitable problems, problems with currency, power, order, I guess my point is that is seems so duanting a task, perhaps if enough people went out simply did it things would fall in place but before that is done, we need to account for so many things, things that might happen in the future or in the near future, I like to think of it in the way the US founding fathers did
Wherever there is opportunity for power or any sort of hierarchy there will arrise power struggles, confrontation with personality, my goal is not to criticize or dissmay anyone but these are my initial thoughts, impressions concerns

Some notes I have on government roles in a free society
- The preservation of freedom requires the elimination of concentrations of power to the fullest possible extent and the dispersal and distribution of whatever power cannot be eliminated - a system of checks and balances.
- There are some matters in which proportional representation is impossible thus we must discuss, argue and vote. But having made a decision there must be conformity. If the use of resources for such indivisible cases becomes necessary then we must employ political channels to reconcile the differences.
- Unfortunately the use of political channels tends to strain the social cohesion essential for a stable society. The strain is least if agreement for joint action need be reached only on a limited range of issues on which people in any event have common views. Every extension of the range of issues for which explicit agreement is sought strains further the delicate threads that hold society together. If it goes so far as to touch an issue on which men feel deeply yet differently, it may well disrupt the society.
- Fundamental differences in basic values can seldom if ever be resolved at the ballot box; ultimately they can only be decided, by conflict.
- The widespread use of the market reduces the strain on the social fabric by rendering conformity unnecessary with respect to any activities it encompasses. The wider the range of activities covered by the market, the fewer are the issues on which explicitly political decisions are required and hence on which it is necessary to achieve agreement. In turn, the fewer the issues on which agreement is necessary, the greater is the likelihood of getting agreement while maintaining a free society.
- Society requires that its members agree on the general conditions that will govern relations among them. Enforcing compliance on the accepted rules and interpreting arbitrary situations.
- Rules cannot prevail unless most participants conform to them most of the time but there canโt be a reliance on the conformity.
- Menโs Freedom can conflict, and when they do, it must be acknowledged that one manโs freedom must be limited to preserve anotherโs.
