Imagine the media's reaction if a dozen or so "RACIAL ECLIPSE" banners were discovered hanging from overpasses along a 300 mile stretch of I-5 during the week(s) leading up the eclipse.

With this message we accomplish three of our goals. 1)Name the enemy 2)Tie message to eclipse 3)Maintain plausible deniability of our intentions.
I think the banners would work on the weekend leading up to the eclipse, not on the actual day of, trying to target press as they arrive, leaflets of hotels, parking lots, etc.
On the day of the eclipse would simply be about the invocation & fellowship. I suppose we would need to make a weekend of it... have a few hotel rooms rented out, fellas arrive do activism over a 1-2 day time period & then gather for actual eclipse.
I can't answer comprehensively about "this" because it's generally a constellation of loosely related activities and I'm only in charge of banner making. As for the banners, I think they would most effectively be used in the week preceding the eclipse and in areas of I-5 both north and south of the eclipse path.
Also might possibly be down in Roseburg during the Eclipse, due to my car being down there, so I'm waiting to see how this all plays out
It would serve as a gambit to draw the enemy offsides and provide a prelude to whatever pageantry takes place on the weekend/morning of the eclipse.
It might be useful to decide if our primary goal is to spectate the eclipse or demonstrate to the spectators. If our top priority is to get maximum views of a political demonstration on an overpass, the smart thing to do is probably perform an "ambush" of northbound traffic returning to Portland after viewing the eclipse at points further south.

If we make a "YOU WILL NOT ECLIPSE US" banner, I think it should be White letters on black background. I'm guessing that banner will span around 50 feet.
Then turn it into a powerful message rather than, "we are getting eclipsed" which is basically what You Will Not Eclipse Us says but in a round about way.
I have been filled in briefly about the event regarding the eclipse. From what I understood it is held mostly with a more esoteric undertone? Or is there more to it?
If I understand correctly, we all plan on being done with operation sonnenrad by Sunday night and all camped together somewhere very remote to watch the eclipse in the morning.

@blackhat 16 I think the idea is: leading up to event we do banners, wordage, guys can wear masks and all that good stuff...during eclipse we go uniforms and sonnenrad flags/banners only.
The only reason we would want to use an "eclipse" message is for media tie in, they will be more likely to latch it into their stories if theirs a play on words.
If you try to go somewhere Monday, you won't get very far I think. The eclipse is at 10 something in the morning, and we speculate that freeways and highways will be jammed.

The plan at the moment is to be doing banners et al. leading up to the eclipse, particularly over the weekend, and then retreating to a private celebration. We're working out details of the location.
