Well I have a ways to catch up now.

@joe TX I visit family and hunt several times a year in Boerne. Great to see that on those streets. Lot of decent people in that area.

@Dustin so with prices like that are you averaging around $35 per banner if prices are cheaper in store? Assuming you cut the tarp in half?

@Taylor TX I bought a smaller tarp. 9 x 12. It was $17.50 each. 11 for fast drying spray can w/ $5 narrow nozzle attachments. $5 for heavy duty zip ties. The stencil packs are $15 per a size. So about $55, but most of this can be reused or applied to additional banners later on.

I did some quick math and came to $31.25 per a banner across 4 banners.

My criticism of the "this is our home" design is that the symbolism should be a bit more... masculine. Our target demographic isn't women here, and the wheatfields stuff gets a bit played out.

Rugged pioneer-explorer-conqueror-warrior, not so much motherly figures.

A lot of our posters are politically oriented. Am playing around with trying to reach man's emotions like family

On swimsuit magazines, sure, but not for organizations based on radical street activism.

Family stuff is for actually doing, and we can promote it that way, showing that people are actually doing it, having big meets with families, things like that.

But when it comes to activism, that's the outward set of teeth, aggression, power, forward momentum, attack attack attack, is the feeling you should be going for.

When it comes to complex things like family support and all that, **show don't tell.** We can show our community of family oriented guys, and it'll do way better than just telling people we're pro family in a poster.

Also, they're widely circulated, and form as a basis for promoting a brand, of sorts.

On top of that, they help bring people up to speed with small scale activism.

because I think it is actually something that has a clear meaninful message. How all that is good is under attack. I wanted to go more in that direction.

For instance, with the "this is our home" slogan, it could benefit from adding in a call to action in the form of "fight for it!" as well. And showing an idealized figure of an activist with a flag and mask, or something of that caliber.

call to actions are empowerig and are our core, since we are activists

If you're looking for working ideas maybe find old pictures or artwork of pioneers / settlers / cowboy like images with men armed leading their family into the frontier sort of thing.

Love family centered images because that is why I am here but an image of a baby or a white women alone is not enough maybe.

I think images that are masculine and aggressive both trigger Marxist trash which means spotlight and also shames/challenges/inspires young men to rise to the fight. Images that are too soft even if they are something precious don't hit all the points at once. Only my opinion.

This is a rough draft, but has a more activist look

Interesting, something like that. Also, the lower banner has the logos far too small to make out, and any minor printing errors will make the text hard or impossible to read. I do my best to keep my text a bit away from the margin of error, so none gets cut off.
