Both the 1.0 spheres and the Identitarian crowd ignore national identity in place of a more broad reaching conception of racial identity, at least in America. Our nation was brought into existence because we would not be ruled by a foreign nation. It was a matter of our identity, heritage, and way of life being so different from that of Europeans that we could not exist under the same government as them.
