also designed the things on the floor directly underneath lol
(they have TVs in)
they also light up but for some reason are not lit in that image
make me a fargoth
How do I into post here?
lol you fags set up an artfags channel?
that's awesome ๐ฏ <:GWcmeisterPeepoLove:403295311189245952>

Something I made for myself, drawing of my SW RPG character.
Man, I have to take time to draw again in fall. Last 6 month were bad, too much work at my workplace ๐ฉ
i paint necrons am i an artist now
why not
green alien
I wanted a yellow alien, but my girlfriend got a blue alien and blue and yellow does not go well side by side
could have had a green baby
Damn you're right <:high_iq:382980759012638731>
yes
@Skyeranger you should be able to post images in here now
Only had a link at hand, I will try with a picture later at home
channel just came into existence and I already feel shame for my complete inability to do anything 3d related
๐
specifically to shame you
@Reaps go to <#383108664380227595>
".gif"
yeah
idk why it's not giffing
@Deleted User **BOOOOO**
dog bles
With a 3D printer, mill, and some arduinos, you could be *very* dangerous lol
You could 3D print your own replica of an old Commodore or w/e
*Think of all the activities!*
i do, all the time
I did scoop up some blank PCBs
I'm going to get some Arduino Nanos to use with these, for when I have a good circuit/device I'd like to actually keep
What're you going to make?
I've been wanting to make some LED lighting for my PC case, I'm working on the RC tank. You can also make little synths with these things, and thats right up my alley
Also some small projects for around the house, for instance, i did a photoresistor to LED to have it only turn on when it gets dark, and I'd like to study more to see how I can use it to control the floodlights on the porch
also, longterm, plus, this wouldnt be mainly an arduino project, although the experience in wiring/voltages/etc will be helpful, but i want to make my own home security
I also want to make some LED lighting modules for my lego crap
So, once I get a little further in, i could easily go through quite a few little Nano boards
Sounds pretty neat
I should narrow my interests to something I can sell
or something that would help me get a job
Hell, I dont even have the drill bits I'd need for this DIY PCB project
specifically I don't yet have any drill bits in millemeters, only fractional inches <:GWfroggyFeelsBaguetteMan:398569671290257415>

Wonder if the parts list, all told, cost any less than a Bugatti ๐คฃ
You looked at the retail(regular size) Bugatti Chiron? I really wanna make a StuGIII in this style
for the 1:1 sized lego chiron, my first thought was, "how? technic chassis tend to be a bit flimsy/flexy"
It's an aluminum chassis, with real wheels, but everything else is lego
those trans-red liftarms tho
oh ffs, aluminum chassis
THATS CHEATING
they should have at least moulded aluminum technic beams instead
It's still 90% lego
and then how many pounds of metal
10% of a car is a lot of raw materials
Maybe... 400lbs of metal?
those flexible skin body panels though? gorgeous
400lbs. so to answer the question can you make a REAL car out of legos? Fuck no.
They used Technic motors
nice
And Lego BRAKES
now to be honest they would have got better performance by going with a 3rd-party motor solution made FOR legos, IE compatible with them. theres a few kits you can put in your lego RCs to make them faster
Technic 1:1 M4A1 when tho
that flexible skin design is perfect for the enormous problem of translating a curvy sherman to bricks
I can see a fully lego tank more possible than a lego car
why is that
Suspension is different
Omg
I just got to the part with the lego electric drill
๐
granted it looks insanely easy to make, and not many specialized parts
the lighting is fantastic
2,304 PF motors <:GWfroggyPepoThumb:400751103223922689>
There's no kill like overkill.
If they gave me the keys to the car I might have to crash it just to watch it explode ๐
I'd love to work on some stupid project like this
at over one million LEGO parts, I'd like to mention that the avg. price of a LEGO piece is 10 cents, although technic parts are in general priced above average
So this is at least a $100K BOM plus chassis/wheels
BTW @Fitzydog if I really need to I can cutout one of these Copper Clad PCB boards with my dremel
Hmm, fair enough point
no point, just that it can be done. its always better to use machines, plus i have shaky hands
will these fit in my power drill?

@Uglypatch those look cool man
@M4Gunner i think its called Veroboard
the new murdoch was ok
Their long story formats were really funny
@DanConway yeah really nice :)
Made this design
gay
sad design
sometimes my dick don't work
Drew dis
move the handle of the cup so its not in the center from viewer perspective
Ye
might as well put some stuff here
@Durtle02 I thought you would use gimp like the masocist you are
gimp?
no i have ps
"have"
*yar har har*
are you retarted
Yar har har m80
@Deleted User why did you think i used gimp?
because you're a true furry
why does that mean i use gimp lmao
gimp is shit
You know what harder to draw than hands?
Titties
Way more dynamic than you think
Or feet if you're Rob Liefeld
Rob Liefeld dont need to draw feets, he just give everyone pouches for days
He certainly owns his criticisms, I'll give him that
Bit this still exists unironically
GIMP really is the worst
Its okay if you almost never need it, but the time it takes to familiarize yourself with it is more time than you should ever use using it
If someone needs a free image manip that badly, I always suggest Microsoft *Paint.net*
@Deleted User I'm pretty sure Krita is the go-to for furries these days https://krita.org/
this is their mascot
"Krita the Cyber Squirrel"
OC DONUT STEEL
yeah. Furries are cheapskates. Atleast weebs buy Clip Studio.
I got Clip studio becuase of it's Batch-file mechanic for illustrating and printing books
lol wtf is this
you just trace 3d models?
Lol no. I use photoshop to create illustrations and then use clip studio to format the pages of my books for print
Clip Studio is a professional illustration software for printing books and comics. Yes it is Japanese and yes it was originally made for Manga. But it's a one time payment software... unlike Photoshop...
what???
I don't use it at all
I googled it and immediately it looked like it was a shitty 3d modelling tool so you could trace your manga
@turtwig Nah, thats a new feature they're trying to Market. In Japan Clip Studio is their go-to software, whereas here in the west it's Photoshop.
__Photoshop__
> The difference is that Photoshop was really just a Photo-manipulation tool which was modded for drawing.
> Monthly subscription service that requires internet connection
> Doesn't have basic drawing tools by default (such as a symmetry tool and synthetic paint), requires mods.
__Clip Studio Pro__
> Clip Studio (previously named "Manga Studio") is a purpose made illustration and comics software, with inbuilt book formatting and batch file exports
> Single time licence purchase, doesn't require internet connection.
> Free updates for life, but expensive licence for full version.
> Has an entire tool-set dedicated to rules and symmetrical rulers. Every tool can be modified to extreme lengths. All tools are default or provided in free updates.
@turtwig I don't make manga, but Clip Studio is a great tool if your making a book or comic you want to print professionally. Alternatively you have Sketchbook Pro, which was recently made free.
Photoshop is the monthly feed gay
I have it becuase I'm at Uni... but after I leave I'm going to dump it
I'd say almost anything is a better alternative to it, but if I found I had to use it I would just try to buy a retail copy of CS2
gotta be like ยฃ500 quid right?
I'm using Aseprite, which is also gay
try Sketchbook pro
it used to be a paid software that went free only a few months ago
Whatever you do do not use the GIMP
My current favourite illustration software are ***Clip Studio Pro EX*** and ***Sketchbook Pro***
I got full CC
suits my needs ยฏ\_(ใ)_/ยฏ
unfortunately there isn't an acceptable alternative to illustrator
I agree
I use illustrator from time to time, but the layering system drives me crazy
my job is almost entirely illustrator based rip
Graphics design?
sorta, yeah
sign making
yeah, thats under the umbrella of graphic designer
so I gotta do graphic design shit but like also gotta draw the front of buildings
and shit like that lol
so you do the preliminary sketches aswell
and structural drawings of internal frames and shit
to show the client the potential outcome
yeah
๐๐ป
which I typically mock up in Photoshop
3D printers are the replicators of today.
Is that nigga wearing blush
I wonder how long these shoes would hold together
I can burn through shoes pretty quick
dem polygons m8 XD
Also new to the discord, so hey!
wip
good shit
@DanConway Have you seen Tom Lovell's paintings?
I found him through this painting depicting The Battle of Belleau Wood.
Sweet painting
He's pretty amazing.
Whatโs that one of?
It's called Gladiator's Race
It just keeps getting better.
This guyโs art is pretty sweet
yeah, I recommend doing an image search for him and just spending some time
So many awesome paintings with so much character.
I could just keep posting amazing paintings but I think I'll let people do some discovering.
@Thomas the Sowell Train [USA] One of my favorite painters is Albert Bierstadt
grand landscape of nature
This one reminds me of a place high in the Trinities, a few hours drive and a day or so hike from where I live.
These are some damn glorious landscapes.
aye, you sure as hell don't get paintings like these anymore
Man I feel like each of these painting has its own unique sound to it, some would be so calm and serene, others lively, and others terrifying and oppressive.
lol I never thought a painting could do so much to put fear of the power of mother nature in me
This one is an interesting example of luminism, which it seems is something of a precursor to impressionism, as shown in the water.
These are dope
