Well reuploaded an old one
probably because talking about Rhodesians iz racist
finally got me a box
sexy
first you cut a hole in that box
lol
@DanConway do you have historical evidence?
I believe you, I just think it'd be a lulzy thing to read about
And I'm sure that now germany is buying up that AR-15 that HK is writing it's name over (I mean the HK-416)
@AiarUther
germany will buy the 433 as far as i know
433?
Oomph
looks purdy
blew through 200 rounds of 6.5 and 500 rounds of .40 today lol
not enough
go out and do twice as that much
kinda disappointing they only used AP shot, but then again APHE probably wouldn't have detonated considering where they hit
Well there's also the issue of their doing it with a bunch of people standing around, and if you've watched FPS Russia you know the danger of debris and shrapnel.
@Somnio I started buying guns for cowboy shooting. SASS bullshit. Started with my rifle Henry Big Boy in .45 LC. Next will be some SAAs.
what does SASS and SAA mean?
Single Action Shooting Society and Single Action Army.
oh wow
you're a cute cowboy
*Gay*
But thanks.
I'm a Cold War military rifle collector so I won't be owning any lever actions anytime soon
but I hear they are very fun to shoot ^_^
Very.
And the action on the Henry is so smooth to work.
Just
Slides.
I bet
smooth actions are great
and then there's my Mosin Nagant....
Ha
as smooth as a cactus
Yeah, I've had similar experiences with the Mosin.
my mosin becomes so stiff if you shoot it too much, you have to punch the bolt open with your palm
Family members brought his over. Had to get kinda rough with it.
Exactly.
I'm gonna take a shower, brb
I'll probably head off to bed. I got work tomorrow.
Night.
here's cute soviet infantry girls
goodnight~
@Somnio fuck yo gay anime shit
That donโt belong here
yeah it does
there's nothing in the rules of the server that prohibits anime and the picture is <#385307110813990913> related
we can always rectify that mistake @Somnio

Lugers are pretty
so what gun does the wammin have?
@AiarUther it looks like an IMI Micro Galil
*watching arab army footage*
**"Take the safety cap off the rocket Abu!"**
Why all these colors though?
Because who the hell has enough black bricks to make a full sized rifle?
some people make working lego guns
@Baraban it's made from legos
<:high_iq:382980759012638731>
wtf is that
an airhose?
It's an AKM, with an underbarrel grenade launcher and a bayonet sheath attached with leather straps.
Rather have a norinco
The fire rate is supposed to be better. I just thought that AKM looked badass.
It looks like an airshit gun since it has the airhose
you dont alway want a higher rate of fire
more control-ability is desirable
What airhose?
Oh wait.
I see it now.
AIRSHITTER REEEEE
Post **REAL** women, not these fakes
It's at the bottom of the grip.
right arm of freedom my dude
FAL-chan is a cutie
Frick yeah
Nah, this is the rifle of the free world.
Not enough dakka
I cant wait to get my PKM PKM
PKMs are so rare and expensive in the US, i have to save all year and spend my entire income on it this winter
I just need an select fire rifle.
expensive
30,000 was the cheapest i have ever seen
for ar select fire lowers
about 7000 right now for a mac 11
You can thank the ATF for that.
Thank William Hughes for that
He should be hung for treason against the constitution
If I can't get a class 3 firearm, I'm cool having an AR with 30 round magazines.
Dream bigger
PKM PKM
What about an M249 SAW?
๐ PKM
Thats gross, dont ever spit that fecal matter out of your mouth ever again
Commie gun lover
Good* gun lover
Opinion invalid
I like AR15s and M240s. The M249 is a piece of trash
Your opinion is worth the dirt I step on
The M240 is a bit heavy for me personally. I may need to start hitting the gym more often.
What's a good rifle to start out on for someone who is a novice to hunting?
A .22LR rifle to practice, theres lots of different good ones out there
You can also hunt small animals with it
cease this
cease what
You know.. I wonder how long it's going to take gun control advocates to notice that Airguns witch Suppressors, designed to Kill Elk, are no regulated as fire arms at all. And that both Civilian ownership of Military grade flamethrowers is also unregulated, and Civilian Ownership of functional Military Tanks is only partially regulated.
Or if they make acquisition of firearms more expensive and difficult how many of the Crazies are going to notice that Mustard Gas Bombs can be made dirt cheap. "Hrmm.. wait months and months and spend thousands of dollars for one riffle. Or spend twenty boxes and make enough DIY Mustard gas bombs to kill a few thousand."
Didn't Australia ban airsoft?
In a weird way. Legal gun ownership distracts from noticing cheaper, and more devasting options. Just because the DIY element.
I don't know about Australia just talking about the US.
Technically speaking. Not counting money. It's easier and quicker to start driving a tank around wielding a Flame thrower and what's essentially a Suppressed Sniper riffle. Then to buy one average quality hunting riffle legally.
https://www.airgundepot.com/airforce-texan-ss-hawke-scope-combo.html An example. Of Airgun I'm talking about.
Meant for hunting Big Game. But totally unregulated. Why it's allowed to have a Suppressor because compressed gas propels the bullet instead of an contained explosion.
Do suppressors make guns more dangerous?
Sure a Traditional Firearm and out perform it no doubt. But point is. Decent range. And can kill a person just as easily too.
No.
Suppressors just reduce noise of the gun being fired. IE so it does less damage to your ear drums and safer to fire.
As for the myth that a Silencer or Suppressor can make a gun 100% silent like in movies and video games. Total Bullshit.
@DanielKO By the progressives measure, since it requires more regulation, yes.
Kinda like how just shooting a gas tank of a car makes it explode like unstable Nitroglycerin.
```
A typical gunshot is around 150-160 decibels, a level that can cause hearing damage. Suppressors can reduce that sound by around 20-30 decibels, depending on the gun, ammunition, temperature and even humidity.
[...]
Itโs important to note that suppressors are intended to lower the sound for the shooter, not the target. Jeremy Mallette, who has researched suppressors for Silencer Shop, estimated the sound of suppressed gunfire would go up 10 to 15 decibels downrange -- making the impact of the suppressor even lower for those on the receiving end.```
So they make the sound louder for the target.
Unless your shooting that Gas tank with incendiary rounds. Or an RPG odds are extremely low to ignite the gasoline and cause the iconic explosion.
Yeah.
It's basically just fancy hearing protection for the operator.
If it were possible to make guns 100% silent. Every gun in the Armed forced would have them.
Every grunt. Marine etc. Not solely spec ops. That would be an extreme combat advantage.
They go for a more practical solution, kill the target before the sound waves arrive.
BRRRRRRRRRT
Comparative to the cost of the firearm itself. A suppressor is nothing.
Not to mention sound is typically what is used to identify the direction and location of an attack.
If you could shoot without making a peep. Your enemy would stand no chance.
The reason Camouflage is so common is because it makes it harder for the enemy to spot ya. They'll know which direction the shooting is coming from. So if your harder to spot. It negates that problem a bit. Totally silent guns would be so effective in combat that a Marine could go into battle dressed as a clown and still be competent in achieving the mission objective.
help looking for FNAL around eastern PA
@DanConway 30k? Defaq?
Maybe on the black market it makes sense
Otherwise select fire and semi auto should be the same price
Can I do swordposting in here?
If the blade is on fire <:makes_you_think:382980749780844554>
Have you never seen what legal selective fire looks like?
Yeah
Why?
@Somnio Hey, the 249 is all we have for high volume suppressive fire in 5.56. 7.62 NATO is nice, but sometimes you just need a big cone of lead.
they should've made it not suck penis
maybe make a smaller 5.56 version of a M60 or M240, or steal the soviet design and make a 5.56 RPD
UK war veteran
blind
tales of his afghan deployment
give it a go.
would appreciate if you gave him some support
Expensive my dude
Huges admendment caused this
The semi-auto conversions for civilian use are finicky
Original Full-auto RPDs are incredibly reliable and they're still used today in heavy combat around the world even though they were designed in 1945
The RPK replaced the RPD in the 60s only so that standard infantry and machine gunners could interchange magazines so no one person ran out of ammo unless the entire squad ran out of ammo
Darwin award
jesus fuck
What the hell, why did the guy tried to shoot his hand 3 times?
yeah, I cringed multiple times
then was like 'oh okay, he's not going to... no wait, he's doing it again'
"It's okay, if you block the barrel, the bullet doesn't come out, see? Just like in cartoons. Let me do it again. Third time... OH FUCK!"
So have you guys heard about this? http://www.ladbible.com/news/news-china-has-developed-a-star-wars-style-laser-gun-20180703
pew pew
"Invisible", except if you have night goggles.
Never mind if the window you want to shoot through blocks IR.
@Achlys @Baraban The IMI Galil is a milled AK-47 variant chambered in 5.56. Milled guns are very heavy compared to thin stamped guns. The high weight of the gun along with soft-shooting 5.56 made it have a negligent amount of recoil and it was very successfully used as a Squad Automatic Weapon. The reason that the IDF moved away from the Galil was simply because it was outdated. It was too heavy for standard infantry to carry for long durations of time, it didn't have picatinny rails to mount optics and accessories with ease, it used proprietary Galil magazines rather than standard NATO M16 magazines. It is a very beautiful and reliable weapon, but outdated for contemporary military use.
They moved to the m16... which is older
And the Galil was in service for like 5 years
the original M16 did not have picatinny rails. New M16s are considered one of the most modular infantry rifles in the world, you can customize one to pretty much do whatever your mission needs it to do, no matter what that mission is.
That's M4
Not M16
M4's are pretty great, though I'd probably prefer a Tavor
And I never heard anyone says M4 is better than a Tavor
I never got to try a Tavor though
Bullpups are rear-heavy and slower to reload
Sure but they are also smaller
an M4 is more practical for everything I think
Never heard anyone complains about them
I never heard of anyone in the IDF who prefers an M4
that's really interesting
I'm pretty sure a lot of it is kind of like a dick measuring thing
People prefer to have a Tavor for the same reason you might prefer a more expensive suit
It's something to brag about
whatever fits in your hand and whatever gets the job done
it doesnt matter
Well the Tavor is also smaller...
It's not fun walking around with a big rifle
Also try walking around with your Galil inside your house while aiming it, the size is going to make it a bit harder
Unless your rooms are really big. But even than it's prefrable to have something smaller in corners
the Tavor is actually heavier than a standard M4, and most of that weight is in the rear making it unbalanced
Yeah I know it's heavier
But it's smaller
Don't know about the balance never used it
an M4 is definitely not a big gun though either
it's not like a long sniper or a GPMG
It's not small
the Tavor is just really short
im gonna stop talking. im tired and need to go to bed
Good night
@Baraban Tell IMI to stop sending us shitty Tavors then. They're some of the worst bullpups around here.
Lol ok I'll talk with them
Though from what I've seen most people on the internet seem to love them. Except a bunch of people saying they have a bad trigger
Guys, we Imperial Guard now
Already posted some 8 hours ago.
Being made in China, I predict a lot of battery packs will explode and hurt the user.
Ak 5 ( and the original FNC ) is a sexy rifle
gun jezuz!
Shouldn't the bot have embedding rights?
on a related note to the Chinese AP lazer rifle,
also I wouldn't necessarily trust the performance of the Chinese AP rifle
somewhat of a grey area as to how effective it is exactly at 800m range
power consumption versus damge offset at range= ๐ค
Powerful lasers heat up a lot.
and that too
not saying it can't work, mind.
so when do we use it to kill aliens?
because clearly God Emperor trump has spelled our destiny out for us, we have to build a space force
As soon as we discover actual illegal aliens
