Reminds me of a story from my family a couple years ago. My mother was calling my grandmother who is 80-something just to say hello on a Sunday, had a good conversation, and her phone's battery died. So my mother left the phone to get recharged.

What she didn't know was that in the next 30 minutes, my grandmother furiously tried getting an operator to connect to my county sheriffs office(we live on the other side of the country) thinking her daughter was attacked and needed someone to check up on her.

EVENTUALLY a sheriff's deputy showed up at my house and told my family to ask her not to do that again. Why? **Because since it's Sunday, there's only two deputies to patrol the whole county.**
