Now somebody suggested to use Trihex's channel, twitch of course won't ban him. And people are there now, free to shitpost, meme, spam. They're even subscribing to him and not to GDQ to show support.

Okay, so that's the one that did that terrible Breath of the Wild run last GDQ. The community agreed to not submit runs because the game was new, unoptimized. Then this person, which agreed with the BotW community, submitted it 1 minute before submissions closed.
So I guess the "consequence" was the backlash from the community. Not sure why that's related to "passing".
